A complaint about my cake was submitting on 12/18/and the assigned ID is ***. I am Quinn V***, starting off by saying I do not run a business I am a hobby self taught baker who makes custom cakes from my homeI do not own a bakery shop, also I am still attending high school
whose years oldThe cake that I provided for *** *** was paid for in advanced via Square Cash App, not using my website where you can chose to pay and order though my websiteHowever my website was down at the moment so *** paid through the cash app a payment of She asked for a tiered, half vanilla half chocolate cakemaroon and white where the colors and she had sent a picture of a cake which had fondant on itI let her know it would be my first time doing a fondant cake, she continued to still order the cakeDecember 11th, we were setting a time for pick up, she told me she gets off of work at 10:am , I told her I had orders scheduled that day and the time for pick up at its latest would be 3:pm. December 16th the day of pick up at 10:am *** Messaged me asking what time I said maybe 1:she then messaged me again around 2:14pm , at this point i'm feeling like i'm being rushed so I then puts my full attention into her order and left the others alonei told her give me minutes, once I was down to my last finishing touches on the cake , I sent another text saying "minutes" then sent another text stating that the cake was done at 3:09pm. *** texted back right away saying okayAround 5:00 she texted she was on her way to pick up her cakeWhich was very late being that she had already rushed meOnce she picked it up I opened it she saw the cake , she told me thank you she liked iti then told her the best way to travel with a cake is to place it on the floor of the front seat or to hold it on your lap and drive carefullyShe left my home, approx, hours later I received a call from someone who was suppose to be ***'s mother , but sounds like a child to meStating that she does not like the cake and she wants refund, I told her I do not do refunds, and maybe if *** would have told me she didn't like the cake before she departed my home then maybe she could have inquired half of her paymentApparently I said ***'s name wrong and the person on the phone began to get "smart" and I decided to hang up the phonei proceeded to shot *** a text on Facebook messenger starting that ill talk to her about the cake because she is who brought it and who seen it before she left my home, no one elsemy text did not go through to *** because she Blocked me from Facebook messengerLater that night Around 10:pm, I received a tag from Facebook which was *** "exposing" my cake, with pictures of what the cake actually looked likeLater threatening to file a complaint of me running a business and not paying any taxes, and also not being licensed to sell cakesAll of things she knew before buying the cake from meOnce again I do not run a business I am a hobby baker, and I do not have a bakery shop of my own to pay taxesI have a job of my own which pays for my hobby baking activitiesI Do not accept the request of her refund of 85$ because before she left my home she was shown the cake and she thanked me, stated she liked the cake and proceeded to her vehicleIf the cake got messed up from the way the driver drove i,m sorry but I cant take responsibility for thatAlso, as stated once, she knew it was my first time doing a fondant cakeI also stated that if the Whole cake was brought to me she could get a refund, that never happenedTherefore there is now nothing I can do about the cake

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.  When I ordered the cake, I was not told this cake would be her first one with fondant and I have messages to prove. Also, I did not threaten her. I simply asked for a final time for a refund, or even a partial before I went ahead with my complaint, as I thought the problem could maybe be resolved an easier way. But, she apparently took it as a threat. I did not post false pictures of the cake either. The cake was lopsided in the picture she posted, as it was when I received it. In addition, I did not tell her I liked the cake, I simply said thank you as she did provide a service for me. That is common courtesy. When I asked her on numerous occasions if the cake was ready, that was not a passive-aggressive attempt at "rushing" her. Quinn had told me the cake would be ready at a certain time, and it wasn't. She also informed us that she "don't do refunds", so I am curious as to what me telling her earlier as opposed to later would do. The cake did not look like the picture at all, nor am I satisfied.
