We just had Nickels Landscaping do work to our yard today. They were very prompt and were busy all day to finish our job on time. Jonny was very open to any changes or ideas we had. Everything was done in a very professional manner, and they were careful to clean up everything including dirt and sod in the street in front of our house. We would definitely use them again and recommend them highly.

We recently used Nickels Landscaping to build a fairly extensive retaining wall project on both sides of our house. We were very pleased with this company throughout the entire experience. They took the time to understand what style of wall we were looking for, to find the best price options for our project, and to plan out exactly how the project would proceed. They were clear in their communication every step of the way and did not pressure us to proceed when our situation forced a delay on the start date. The work crew was consistently friendly, clean and professional, and they cleaned up the work area at the end of every day - which significantly reduced the overall sense of tearing up in the yard. They were responsive to all questions as the project took shape, they easily made minor adjustments as we proceeded, and they finished the project in under the time estimated. We would easily recommend that anyone else with a landscaping or hardscaping need work with this company.
Nickles just completed a 5 day remake of our back yard with a fire pit area and a stone patio that had to be terraced over the falling grade of the back yard. It is amazing how Jonny and crew pieced the tiers in sequence, leaving nothing to chance. The extended a drainage system that is covered by their work to protect their work for years to come. Jonny gave us amazing informed consent as to options and kept the project very close to budget. When running into problems, such as the pit area of the fire pit not being feasible with the pre-cast stone system we ordered, his crew found matching stone and cut it to fit, no charge to the budget. These people are true landscape artists and they have transformed our back yard into tiers of joy.
