I am not a customer and I have never heard of QuinstreetThis "company" some how retrieved my email and sent fake invoices for leads I have never heard, authorized or even purchasedI sent the email to my spam folder and all of a sudden a few months later I receive fraudulent charges on my credit card once again for leads I have never heard of!This seems to be a common theme from these scam artists as I am reading from prior reviewsWhy haven't these people been stopped? I have already disputed all charges with my credit card companyI want this place shut down! Taking advantage of small business owners!!!!!!!!!!!!! They will not get a penny of money

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 11, 2015/03/23) */ Received response via email: Thank you for bringing this matter to our attentionQuinStreet's investigation determined that Mr [redacted] 's concern was not processed until recentlyWe have confirmed that his account has been closed and his data deletedWe will notify himAs an added precaution, we have placed his email address on the company's global unsubscribe listWe regret the delay and inconvenience to Mr [redacted] Initial Consumer Rebuttal / [redacted] (3000, 13, 2015/03/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) In an email from a QuinStreet representative, [redacted] , I was informed on 3/18/that finally my account would be closed as long as I gave them a reason in writingEmail available on request for your amusement purposes onlyOn 3/23/15, QuinStreet replied to the Revdex.com complaint and confirmed that the account ( WisePiggy.com - credit monitoring ) had been closed and that my email had been removed from their global spam listAs of 3/27/this account remains open and the spam continues hourlyMy personal favorite is the drug rehab spamBecause we all know how important it is for a drug addict to have good creditI shouldn't be surprised that a company who would defraud the US Government and prey on US veterans to exploit the GI Bill for their own financial gain wouldn't take a Revdex.com complaint seriously I appreciate the efforts from the Revdex.com staff to help me resolve this ridiculous issue with QuinStreet

Please advise friends to be very cautious advertising or transacting any business with QuinStreet Insist on an indemnity clause in the contract so that of a company is sued for advertisements or calls or anything associated with QuinStreet, QuinStreet will be obligated to reimburse all costs including fully amortized staff time, legal fees and settlements, maybe in triplicate for the probable Dilution Of Good Will My experience is that once QuinStreet acquires an email address or phone number, through legitimate sources or not, it is impossible to stop QuinStreet from using these email addresses or phone numbers Rather, requests to stop likely result in vindictive retaliation through floods of disgusting emails and phone calls The Federal Do Not Call list is not effectively honored by QuinStreet I have dozens of examples where QuinStreet is identified as the lead source for falsely *Fresh [redacted] leads by companies calling me asking for someone other than me This has been going on for years, despite repeated and polite direct requests to cease, beginning before In I actually visited QuinStreet's (almost empty) offices on the [redacted] , and discussed my experiences with one of their lawyers He promised all calls and emails would end Well, they slowed, for awhile, then increased into floods of harassment again and again I actually feel somewhat sorry for several of the companies who have been defrauded by QuinStreet when my number has been distributed to them with another name with a supposedly fresh request for a refinance or business loan or credit card debt elimination or whatever the next scam becomes An example are several dating companies A couple, as a result of my discussions, appear to have changed advertising strategy to avoid future legal liabilities, and possibly to get more cost effective service The ones which continue to use QuinStreet Do you Really want your advertisements to All end up in only SPAM folders, next to " [redacted] : down for s3x tonight", or " [redacted] : You have a 1NightStand Request" Does this enhance or erode your corporate credibility and likelihood of acquiring profitable clients who will be so enamored with your services that they will recommend them to friends? In addition, how does this also backfire when your advertisements are viewed on television? Does the concept of irony by advertising through scummy scammers make anything other than a negative impact? How desperate for business must one be to use both? A couple of companies I have discussed my problems with have apparently communicated my wishes to their advertiser(s) Amazingly, the commercial advertisements all actually ended one day on an email account Sadly the commercial ads were replaced by over scamming and scummy vindictively harassing emails for several days, a volume that has only abated somewhat My count of archived SPAM now exceeds 150, My count of harassing phone calls exceeds 3,000, and my archive is over a thousand Oh, and the links and attachments associated with many of these emails may carry the malicious viruses that so plague and disrupt our Internet to the point of becoming dangerous to use I have a work associate who's family member clicked by accident on one of those links, and by morning ALL of their financial accounts were wiped out and all their money and savings gone That makes a great impression, NOT! Anybody at the FTC want to make $16k a call Any law firms want to join in? Could dent our National Debt by many millions if we can collaborate effectively A good grassroots campaign could collect many other persons in similar circumstances, and a grand case could be developed, then prosecuted one call at a time QuinStreet has market valuation to help our debt out a few days worth [redacted] Boulder Pledge "Under no circumstances will I ever purchase anything offered to me as the result of an unsolicited e-mail messageNor will I forward chain letters, petitions, mass mailings, or virus warnings to large numbers of othersThis is my contribution to the survival of the online community." This example from: [redacted] I strongly subscribe to this policy It saves me lots of money by not having to pay for the advertising to a million others, just to get one sale I suspect that the smartest and richest consumers feel likewise On the other hand, QuinStreet could revise it's policies and get rid of it's vindictive behavior, make sure they never use an email address or phone number without first validating through that conduit that the recipient legitimately wants information, and discontinuing use after a dozen distributions or days, whichever comes first Please, Please, Please advise your friends to avoid QuinStreet, it's harassment and vindictiveness However, your Frenemies and QuinStreet will be good company

This survey company said they would pay me but have not

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 9, 2015/03/23) */ Received response via email: Thank you for bringing this matter to our attentionQuinStreet's investigation has confirmed that Mr [redacted] ' unsubscribe request has been processed by the publisher responsible for newsletters he receivedAs additional precautions, we have placed his email address on QuinStreet's global unsubscribe list and his telephone number on our Do-Not-Call listWe also confirmed that this user ID is not currently mailable so he won't be receiving anything from us going forward and has not received any emails in recent weeksWe regret the delay and inconvenience to Mr [redacted]
