Quinte West Paving

We had them come do some work on our farm. The driveway to the house, a square pad at the side of the barn to drive a TMR cart on to load feed into it from the TMR mixer and a walkway up an incline for our cattle to go from the barn to the pasture field because the pathway would become muddy in the spring and after a heavy rain. Our cows would then track the mud into the dairy barn. They were shown the tmr cart when they gave the estimate. Said it would be no problem on the recycled ashpault. They didnt finish the area beside the barn, somehow managed to take a level area and put a slant in it. So my tractor and tmr mixer is on an angle. My tmr cart dug into the st the first time I drove it on it. Hardly any depth to the product. The limestone screenings that were there before did a better job. I have had to lay a 1 inch thick mat down to drive the cart on or I get stuck. The walkway for the cows lasted a week and they fked up the grade so whenever the snow melts or it rains it floods that area of the barn. The driveway to the house has grass growing up through it. I cant clear the snow off it until the ground freezes because the tractor leaves tire tracks in it.
Told us a few different times they would be by in a the next few days to finish it. Never did. Once they dropped off some ashpault and said they would be by to thicken up the area beside the barn. The sad part is that pile is the only spot on the farm that hardened up.

Quinte West paving *** money from my 81 year old Dad. He hired them last June, 2018. They laid their asphalt, said they would be back the following week. My Dad has called them several times, I have called them also and all we get is voice mail. I went by where their "business" is and no one is around. My Dad is still waiting for them to finish his driveway, but they likely won't. DO NOT hire this company for anything.

COMPANY IS A *** AND A *** DUDE. HE LIKES TO BLAME EVERYONE ELSES FOR HIS POOR ATTITUDE. IF HE WAS A STAND UP GUY HE WOULD TAKE HIS LUMPS LIKE A MAN. STAND BEHIND YOUR WORK INSTEAD OF PUTTING HIS HANDS IN EVERYONES POCKETS. TAKE CARE ON HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE,IT WILL COME BACK TEN TIMES FOLD.

What do I do with a truck load of dry stone???
Both *** & *** have had a year to solve the problem. ***. *** showed up in her *** last year, I gave her $2000.00 cash, I have my receipt and I was promised with a guarantee a nice driveway.
STONES!! DRY STONES that is all I got for my $2,000.

I was diligent calling Quinte West Paving *** & ***, in the fall they sprinkled calcium powder all over the driveway stating this calcium would BOND the dry stone.OMG ***!!
This ONLY caused serious damage to my floors, carpets throughout the house & my car as it dissolves into OIL EVERYWHERE! OIL & STONES EVERYWHERE!!
When they see my number they now answer the phone "Hello ***"

The paving product used did not perform as we were told it would. The business owner will not respond to complaint
Received a quote in the amount of $5,438.00 from Quinte West Paving on Sept. 30th 2017 to put recycled asphalt on our driveway. The work was completed the following week. We paid Quinte West $5400.00 cash. The contractor was to return in 2 weeks to roll the driveway again but did not. I complained the following month about the driveway not turning out the way we were told it would. We were told at the time of the quote that this recycled asphalt would harden up similar to asphalt paving and that it was a cleaner product than the A gravel driveway we had previously. I was assured at that time somebody would be right over to look at it. No one showed up. After the winter weather the driveway is much worse. It is rough like washboard. You can carve a trench 3 inches deep with the heel of a boot. When it rains we have a pond on our driveway. Also winter and spring the small grit from it tracks into the garage and house. I mean huge amounts of it. We have hardwood floors of a dark colour throughout the house, so I have to sweep and blow the garage out daily and my wife has to sweep and vacuum constantly. This after being assured it was cleaner than gravel. I have phoned the business owner 17 times, split roughly 50/50 between his personal cell phone and the companies *** business numbers. The owner has not got back to me. I went to their place of business *** on May 4th 2018 and was assured someone would be to look at it the week of May 6th 2018. This after saying things to me , when talking to him at their yard like " Did we do a driveway over there?" No one has shown up, and they are still not returning phone calls. This despite printed on the quote sheet, "All work warranty for one year". ***. Also instead of the driveway edges being straight and attractive, they remind you more of the path a snake might travel. ***...The job wasn't completed by not being compacted again...Complete shoddy workmanship...Complete lack of feelings of obligation...Neglect. To give you some idea what this company is like. The job took part of 2 days to complete. At the end of the first day they left tools laying all around on the ground like 5 year olds in a sandbox...but the very worse thing was they parked their large equipment trailer on my neighbours lawn without consulting either them or us. When they left the following day the trailer and truck left ruts on my neighbours lawn and spin marks in their driveway from one ton truck. That caused me a lot of grief.

I had quinte west out to do my driveway . They said 2500 dollars and guaranteed me good results verbally . All they did was to come dump old dried out recycled asphalt spread it out and rolled it with a very small weight roller. They left piles of dirt and recycled asphalt all over the boundaries of my driveway . It now floods and puddles my garage . It tracks all threw my house my yard sidewalks and patios.. I tried to snow blow my driveway and that was impossible to do. I tried to plow my driveway which left nothing but a mess on my lawn. I ended up having to shovel my driveway all winter. My driveway isn't small so it was quite a chore for me ***.. I contacted the *** of quinte west paving and they told me not to bother them or they would charge me with harassment. I am bow forced to take this quinte west company to court .I wouldn't recommend this company to any one. ***. A terrible terrible company

In the summer of 2017, had paving done at our residence. Paid them. Said would come next day to reroll. Never showed. Just alot of loose gravel. Most asphalt didn't adhere. Low spots.Have been in contact many times over the last many months with only excuses no results. Confronted in person wanting my money back with no results.
