Refundable.me a scam, sold thru F1 Experience, run by QuintEvents
We bought an expensive pkg deal to a Formula 1 grand prix in Montreal for June 2022. However, our flight was cancelled and the airline system basically collapsed bec of weather, understaffing, and overbooking, esp into Montreal (the site of an international event). We were unable to rebook due to the foregoing. Refundable.me has been impossible to deal with - a month on, over 30 emails, we us provided volumes of info, including the cancellation from the airlines. Still, nothing. They now want to call the airlines to "verify" we were unable to rebook. Ridiculous, invasion of privacy, and does not conform to their own terms and conditions.
Formula One Experience gave us lip service to helping but did nothing. Answers online to others indicate that Refundable. me is a third party for which they are not responsible. That's BS. They sold it to us thru their name. I imagine we'll never see our refund. So BOOK ELSEWHERE - there is no accountability in F1 Experience or Refundable.me.
This was my first time doing business with QuinteventsI think the customer service is goodThe packages are priceyThey tell you what your package includes but don't break down the indivual item each thing cost which make up the packageMy suggestion is do your research before you pay all that money for a packageYou might be able to book your own hotel, transportation and tickets to *** all star game for half the costI'm feeling like I got ripped off when I got to *** and discovered our seats were at the very top section as far up you can goWhen your that far up your basically getting the same experience you would at homeAfter the game, we were told to board the buses in a particular location one hour after the end of eventWhen we went to that area there was no bus or staff member holding up signs as promisedSo it made it difficult locating our busFor awhile we thought the bus had left us behindI didn't like the fact there was no live staff to call hoursI was disappointed knowing I paid all this money for this package thinking Quintevents has some affiliation with the *** and could arrange some decent seatsIt's all about moneyThere's a profit somewhere, not sure the commission but your money is being spent in other places not just to see the game or little gifts you receive
