I purchased five items from Quirky on July **, 2016. I received a shipment notice with tracking information. When the package arrived, the envelope was torn open and three of the items were missing. Review: I placed order #1 on December *, 2014 and used a 50% off coupon for the order. Three items were placed on backorder. I was not charged for those items. While those items were on backorder, I had to change my payment source (credit card) and was told that the Quirky system does not allow a change in payment source, so my original order would have to be cancelled and a new order would have to be placed. To offer me the same 50% discount from my original order, I was told to pay the full amount on the three items that I needed to re-order, and I would be given 50% of the subtotal back.

I made another order as directed (order #2). Since I had accrued a referral credit of $15, I applied it to that order as well. I used [redacted] as the form of payment this time, which meant that I debited in full at the time of checkout (the money was taken out of my account). A customer service agent refunded me 50% of the subtotal ($90, half of the one-hundred and eighty dollar subtotal) as we had discussed.

Out of the three items that needed to be re-ordered, only the Tripper was sent to me. The other two items ([redacted] and [redacted]) were not sent and the website stated that they were still on backorder, to be shipped out in January and February. We were nearing the end of March and still waiting for those two items to be shipped ([redacted] and [redacted]), so I finally contacted customer service at Quirky. They were unable to figure out how to send me the items, so they asked me to go through the same process of re-creating another replacement order, to which they would apply the 50% off in some way. I was to be refunded the amount used to pay for the $180 subtotal on order#2.

However, I was credited back only $50 on March **. The support agent gave me a $10 gift card code for their "error", but even if we were to suppose that the $10 gift card code was to go towards the $15 referral credit that I used, I am still missing $10 of credit from the second order that was not refunded.

Perhaps the customer service agent didn't realize that I used a $15 store credit (referral code), which I would like refunded as well so I can roll it over to the replacement order that I need to make.

The order consisted of the following items:

Tripper @ $40 which became $20 (half price)

[redacted] @ $50 which became $25 (half price)

[redacted] @ $90 which became $45 (half price)

The Tripper was shipped. The [redacted] and [redacted] were not shipped.

Since Quirky decided to cancel my order, the amount owed should include the credit back from my referral earnings, minus the Tripper that was shipped correctly. So the actual amount of $90 - $20 should be credited.

That means a refund of $70 should have been processed in two forms. If referral credit cannot be refunded back as cash, then the refund should be broken down into $55 back to the form of payment and $15 as store credit (referral credit or gift code).

Again, to summarize, the refund should have been:

-$20 for the Tripper that was delivered

$15 for the referral credit refund

$55 for the refund back to payment source

($90 already refunded on Jan **)

This accounts for all $180 of the subtotal for order number #2.

Instead, I was refunded:

$90 on Jan. **

$50 on March **

($10 gift code on March **)

(-$20 for the Tripper that was delivered)

If the gift code sent out on March ** was given out in good faith rather than as part of my refund amount, then I would be missing $5 in credit back to my payment source and $15 in store credit. If you would like to count the gift code as part of my refund, I am still missing $5 in credit back to my payment source and $5 in store credit.

I was impressed with the Quirky/Wink products that I purchased in November, so I have made purchases of several products related to this from both the Quirky website and local retailers: 9x GE/Quirky/Wink ligtbulbs, 2x Wink hubs, 1x Porkfolio, 1x Tripper. I would still like my [redacted] and [redacted] sent, as this was supposed to be part of my home set-up revolving around Quirky/Wink products that were offered.Desired Settlement: I would like the missing amounts credited back to me both to [redacted] and store credit. I would then like the order re-created for the two items that were never shipped. I would like the same 50% off promotion applied to this third order. I would like the items to actually be delivered this time.

Review: I have been trying to cancel a Quirky account for nearly a YEAR now. Because there is no automated way to cancel an account with Quirky, I was instructed to email the company in order to delete my account, as well as all of my information. I received a reply from [redacted] (Quirky "community support") who replied: Your account cannot be removed from the site entirely at this time. However all personal information has been redacted. Sorry for any inconvenience!" This wasn't - and still isn't - good enough. I want my account completely removed from the site, which I tried to express to [redacted] over the course of several emails.

I asked *when* he thought they would have the capability to remove my account from their site and was told: "I don't have a timeline as to when tech will be able to get to that, however it is stated in our terms and conditions that we reserve the right to retain any and all data submitted to Quirky. 'If your account is terminated, we will terminate your access to your account, but will not remove your profile from the Site, and may retain your information as necessary for our future use as authorized under this Privacy Policy. We may use retained data to prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing in connection with the Site or to comply with legal obligations. Information may exist in backup storage even after it has been removed from our active databases.'"

I was on the site for less than 24 hours. I want my account, data, information, etc. removed from Quirky and confirmation that this has happened.Desired Settlement: I want my account, data, information, etc. removed from Quirky and confirmation that this has happened.

Review: I placed an order on 12/* for Christmas gifts. As of 12/**, the order had not shipped, so I emailed their customer support department. On 12/** I received an email stating that the order had shipped, but received no reply to my customer service inquiry. On 12/**, I emailed customer service again for an explanation and assurance that my items would arrive before Christmas. As of 12/**, I have received no reply, and according to the [redacted] tracking information provided, my order has not actually shipped; only a label has been created. I called their customer service number on 12/** and was told that my wait time would be 618 minutes - more than 10 hours.Desired Settlement: I want an apology for the poor customer service and assurance that their customer service policy will be improved to ensure a response to customer inquiries within 24 hours, like most internet shopping sites offer.

I also want a refund for the items that I ordered if they do not arrive by Christmas.

Review: I have been a Quirky community member for many years now and on July **, 2015 I "cashed out" $163.11 from my account balance. I have not received this money. My account says balanced cashed out but there has been no ACH deposit into my bank account.Desired Settlement: I will seek nothing further if I am compensated the $163.11 that I am owed as well as a quirky tee-shirt (medium) and an apology for their mishandling and blatant disregard for the Community.

Quirky requires specific information being detailed and requiring photos. Submitting an idea is easy. The review deemed my submission, " unable to understand" In which they did not include reasons for their review response. The submission was clear, concise, and a fifth grader would understand. I included a professional picture easy to view and understand. I believe this company is scamming people's ideas to benefit financially. Claiming to be misunderstood but developing the submissions. Thanks.
