Revdex.com: I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [ Unfortunately, rather than co-operate to resolve this conflict, Quiroz Lawn Care has chosen to escalate it with a series of largely irrelevant fabrications Quiroz Lawn Care continues to ignore the crux of the matter--documented in writing--that it agreed IN ADVANCE to complete the work for $per visit and then, after two visits, stopped appearing on the work site and then, once reached by telephone, demanded an entirely different price for the completed work, one which had never been discussed at any time Following are the fabrications which Quiroz now advances: That they had a "requirement" that every job be at least $50, and that they "relayed" this to me Nothing of the kind was ever mentioned, and furthermore this is contravened by their own acceptance IN WRITING of the $price That they were offering "additional services" What this means is a complete mystery At no time did Quiroz offer or supply "additional services" nor were any such services ever requested After Quiroz abandoned the work site for three weeks, I finally reached Mr Quiroz on the telephone, when he declared that he would do no further work until and unless I agreed to a higher price This was the FIRST indication I ever had that Quiroz decided to raise its price As Mr Quiroz was difficult to understand on the phone I asked that we return to email communications(As further experience has confirmed, every communication with them clearly needs to be in writing anyway.) By this time my lawn had grown quite high and I cut it myself What Quiroz still seems unable to grasp is that it is patently unethical and in fact illegal to unilaterally change the agreed price of a service after the work has been performed Quiroz ignored my email which showed that they agreed to the $price, and they continue to ignore this fact They are simply dishonest I waited three weeks for any response from them but received none except for another demand for payment Now they are forcing me to escalate this matter I cannot permit Quiroz Lawn Care to publish lies about me, on the Revdex.com site or elsewhere It's now amply clear why Quiroz refused to communicate in writing, despite having done so previously Quiroz should retract the statements it made about me at once Quiroz is also hereby under notice not to approach me or any forces hired by me, either of which will be construed as assault, and not to trespass upon my property at any time ] Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com spoke with the business regarding this complaint. less than $50.00, this was relayed to [redacted]. And as they were offering additional services that the current business was not providing there would be an increase of $10.00 bringing the total to $55.00. In regards to the communications, Quiroz Lawn Care repeatedly tried calling the customer to discuss the details, but [redacted] did not answer and had voice mail set so no message could be left. [redacted] requested that they communicate through email. The customer emailed the business late at night (8:33pm) inquiring about the $55.00 vs. the $45.00 charge he thought it would be and the business did respond back twice that night (up until 9:55 pm) by email but went to bed shortly thereafter. The business has an email from the customer on October 3, 2014 agreeing to pay $55.00 for weekly cuts after the business explains their prices. Quiroz Lawn Care explained to Revdex.com that they would have loved the opportunity to rectify this for their customer if they had been given the chance. They arrived on the property prepared to work and found the lawn already cut. They were not even given notice of termination. The last time the business heard from the consumer was in early October.
The business is willing to write off the difference of $10 for each service bringing the final balance to $90.00 versus $110.00. In addition, the business owner wishes to sever any future relationship with this customer.

Unfortunately, rather than co-operate to resolve this conflict, Quiroz Lawn Care has chosen to escalate it with a series of largely irrelevant fabrications.
Quiroz Lawn Care continues to ignore the crux of the matter--documented in writing--that it agreed IN ADVANCE to complete the work for $45 per visit and then, after two visits, stopped appearing on the work site and then, once reached by telephone, demanded an entirely different price for the completed work, one which had never been discussed at any time.
Following are the fabrications which Quiroz now advances:
1. That they had a "requirement" that every job be at least $50, and that they "relayed" this to me.  Nothing of the kind was ever mentioned, and furthermore this is contravened by their own acceptance IN WRITING of the $45 price.
2. That they were offering "additional services".  What this means is a complete mystery.  At no time did Quiroz offer or supply "additional services" nor were any such services ever requested.
3. After Quiroz abandoned the work site for three weeks, I finally reached Mr Quiroz on the telephone, when he declared that he would do no further work until and unless I agreed to a higher price.  This was the FIRST indication I ever had that Quiroz decided to raise its price.  As Mr Quiroz was difficult to understand on the phone I asked that we return to email communications. (As further experience has confirmed, every communication with them clearly needs to be in writing anyway.)  By this time my lawn had grown quite high and I cut it myself.  What Quiroz still seems unable to grasp is that it is patently unethical and in fact illegal to unilaterally change the agreed price of a service after the work has been performed.
4. Quiroz ignored my email which showed that they agreed to the $45 price, and they continue to ignore this fact.  They are simply dishonest.  I waited three weeks for any response from them but received none except for another demand for payment.  Now they are forcing me to escalate this matter.
I cannot permit Quiroz Lawn Care to publish lies about me, on the Revdex.com site or elsewhere.  It's now amply clear why Quiroz refused to communicate in writing, despite having done so previously.  Quiroz should retract the false statements it made about me at once.  Quiroz is also hereby under notice not to approach me or any forces hired by me, either of which will be construed as assault, and not to trespass upon my property at any time.

Review: Greetings: I contracted with Quiroz Lawn Care to take over my lawn maintenance. Without warning or notice, they stopped coming to maintain my lawn; when I was finally able to contact [redacted] he told me that he had decided to increase the charge from $45 to $55 to cover the cost of coming all the way to my house. When I contacted them by email (since [redacted] was difficult to understand on the telephone) his wife Laura insisted that the amount had been $55 all along. So I forwarded a copy of our initial agreement clearly showing the amount being $45. Quiroz Lawn Care ignored that email and has declined all further contact.Businesses may raise their rates, even dramatically, any time they like. However, it is illegal and unethical to attempt to change the rate for work already performed and agreed upon.Desired Settlement: Quiroz should send a corrected invoice showing $45 (the amount we agreed upon) for each of the two services provided.
