I bought a sofa and a rug, the total was $2656.93 on the 3rd of November 2015. Within the 90 days I paid a total of $1690.00. On March 3rd of 2016 I called to pay my final balance, and was informed I currently owe $2513.30.
I've spoken with the Manager, and the district manager and the they said they would work with me by lowering my owe amount to 1726.00 if I paid by today only!
From the first day I rented this furniture with Acceptancenow they were scamming me. The terms explained to me now are different, the verbiage used to described the agreement changes depending on who is explaining the contract.
I am very disappointed with my first furniture purchasing experience. I am very angry that a percentage of 30% was not disclosed to me before taking my money. I feel unprotected by these criminals of so called companies
Review: After signed a contract with R A C Acceptance Now for 120 days payment plan. This such company didn't notified me about the contract over date of if I want to continue and accept to continue with the contract for more than 120 days changing 50% interest for product or service. I paid already $1133.00 dollars and I asked where is that money and they said that this money is just for service and fee and that I still own the money for the furniture that is 1400.00. This company is SCAM charging people 50% interest and not telling the customer what going on. No notification mail to me to ask me if I want to continue with the contract or If I want to pay off the furniture.Desired Settlement: Billing adjustment
Review: I LOST MY JOB IN JUNE. I CONTACTED THE COMPANY LETTING THEM KNOW BECAUSE I HAVE COVERAGE THAT IF I LOSE MY JOB THEIR COVER MY PAYMENTS FOR 6 MONTHS. EVERY TIME I CALL EVERYONE GAVE ME DIFFERENT INFO. I FOLLOWED ALL THE STEPS IN STARTING THE PROCESS BUT THEY SAID IT'S UP TO THE MANAGER TO GET BACK TO ME AND MAKE THE APPROVAL. IT'S BEEN OVER 3 MONTHS AND I HAVENT HEARD NOTHING. THE EMPLOYEE SAID IT'S NORMAL FOR THE MANAGER TO TAKE MONTHS TO GET BACK TO A CUSTOMER. MY CONCERN IS GETTING INTEREST CHARGES, OR BEING REPORTED ON MY CREDIT.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE TO SPEAK WITH THE REGIONAL MANAGER WHO APPROVES THE UNEMPLOYEMENT BENEFITS. AND MAKE SURE MY ACCOUNT HAS NOT BEEN AFFECTED WITH LATE CHARGES, OR FIANCE CHARGES.
Review: We bought a set of furniture at [redacted] and we used Acceptance Now [RAC]. the representative of RAC told use many lies and forgot to give us a contract, I though the contract was in the folder, which only had coupons not the contract. I was told that if I wanted to return the furniture back I would get a refund back and that was a lie. I have a issue with the bed and I went to talk to them and they said if I return the bed I will no longer be allowed to use the RAC system, plus get no refund back. I told them there were some defects with the furniture, for example the mattress for the trundle does not fit in the trundle and they never told us the mattress was to tall for the trundle now we have a hard time pulling the trundle out of the bed and we are scared we will break the board which is not covered. So now they want to give us a thinner and cheaper mattress, but we still have to pay for the mattress we have now which, is a pillow top mattress that is more expense. I talk to them already and they are not willing to work with us in our needs. I feel like I was cheated and lied to, and now i'm angry and they don't care.Desired Settlement: I would like to get my money back so that I could get better quality of furniture, that will last use a long time. So that I don't have to deal with them anymore.
