Review: I purchased a car from them 06/26/12, I paid cash $4,131.25 for a used car for my son to get back and forth to work. I purchased a car from a dealer because they have a checklist of things they are required to check before each sale of a car. I figured I would be safer than buying from a unknown person. I was wrong. I have a copy of said checklist and it said everything was checked ok. but one thing it said window on sun roof motor did not work, that was ok it was a work car only.Well just 4 months later we noticed fluid on the driveway back by the transmission, we took it to a Dodge dealer( [redacted] Wi. This is the list of things wrong:1. Blown Head Gasket2. Timimg Belt3. Water Pump4. Motor Mount5. Front Pads and Rotors total to fix $2,898.29Now do you think this many things went wrong with this car in a matter of 4 months. Basically they told me I got ripped off and told me about the Lemon Law. And to turn it into you, They told me the car was not worth fixing. To Trade it in on a Push pull drag sale.So I did, I got only $1,000.00 of my money back from [redacted] Wi 53545 to purchase another car that now I have car payments.I believe they took advantage of me because I was a women and my age. They also talked me out of buying a warranty on the car, they said it wasn't worth it.I think I deserve some of my money back if not all of the $3,131.25, minus the $1,000.00 I already received, and this dealership should be watched closer.

Regarding the Complaint ID #[redacted]: R & R Auto Sales is sorry to hear that a customer was displeased with a vehicle bought in June of20 12. We value all of our customers and hope that if there is a problem with the vehicle they purchased from us,

that they would convey their concerns to us. All vehicles sold by R & R Auto Sales have been safety inspected and necessary repairs done prior to selling the vehicle. Neither the customer nor her son has ever contacted us with any issues with the car that

was purchased. With that said, the customer did buy a high mileage car and it is possible after four months and unknown number of miles that were put on the car, that the head gasket did blowout. In the repair business is routine to suggest to a customer to fix other maintenance items that are involved with the initial repair. The stated list (timing belt, water pump) are items that the customer would want to replace when repairing the head gasket. The customer bought a used car and depending on how many miles in the four month the vehicle was driven the brakes maybe were getting thin, but that is a another maintenance item. R & R Auto Sales takes discrimination seriously and has completed an Automotive Finance and Ethics Certification through Bottom Line Consultants. Automotive dealers are required to offer an extended warranty to all customers and extended warranties are an additional cost to the price of the vehicle. The costs of these warranties are calculated by the age and miles on the vehicle and with that said, on a high mileage vehicle the warranty costs can be as much as the purchase price of the vehicle. We are attaching copies of the vehicle window sticker and the safety inspection repair order.
