Review: This company was to rent a vacation time share we have once we completed the conditions of the contract they made excuses for not paying out what was contracted. One moth later after numerous calls from me they said the account was frozen by the country of [redacted] and in order to receive payment I needed to pay taxes and several other charges that came about in the year 2015 even though I completed all aspects of the contract in 2014. I requested a refund of all money I had expended but now after another month the phone numbers are not receiving calls.Desired Settlement: I would like all money expended to be refunded as was stated in the contract since I completed all of the required steps, but after my completion they did not complete what they were contracted to do. After a month they were trying to hold me responsible for conditions that were not in affect when I completed my end of the contract.

Review: This involves R and D Properties who claim to market and resell timeshares. They claim to be associated with [redacted], a timeshare property in [redacted] They are also associated with an escrow company called [redacted] supposedly in Florida (again address does not exist and they are not registered with FL ). They claim to have a buyer for your timeshares and say they do not want any payment before closing and that all the funds will come from the buyer's payment. After signing a contract they tell you that you have to pay the transfer taxes (to prevent money laundering) and this needs to be wired to a bank in [redacted].I have emails, documents and even a voice recording (I told them I was recording). This is a total SCAM. The names used (probably not their real names[redacted]Desired Settlement: Put them out of business and warn others of this SCAM

Review: Hello,

I was contacted by R and D Properties in September. They offered to sell 10 weeks of my timeshare for a value of $2700 each for a total of $27000. They first said that there was no money up front but after the contract was signed they told me that I needed to pay for maintenance fees for these weeks. This amounted to $5950.

They are working with a second firm called Infinity Financial Services that does the financial transaction and acting as escrow agents for them. They had me wire money from my credit union here to a Mexican Bank and gave me a statement that guaranteed that I would be paid the $27000 plus the $5950 within 90 days.

Several weeks passed and [redacted] of R and D Properties called me and told me that the money was ready and waiting in Mexico but that I needed to pay taxes on this money of $6260.50. So I asked them for a bank statement showing these funds and the request from the Mexican Government requesting taxes for this money.

The request for taxes looked reasonable but the bank statement was totally fabricated with the background bank information quite distorted from being faxed and the information relevant to our transaction in a clear sharp post script font that scaled as you enlarged it while the bank statement background just got more and more blurry. (I can give you copies of all these documents)

I was unwilling to move forward unless they put funds in escrow with the condition that they would go to me if the transaction would not go through and back to them if it did go through. They were unwilling to go forward on this condition and will now not return my calls to either go forward of get my money back.

The person that contacted me initially was [redacted], I was then handed to a [redacted] The contact at [redacted] is [redacted]Desired Settlement: At this point, I would just like my maintenance fees of $5950 back. Their contract states that if I cancel the transaction they would deduct $2500 from the any money refunded but I have not canceled the contract and am willing to go forward with the provision that they put money in escrow. They have failed to perform on the contract by providing false documents, so I feel I am entitled to a full refund of $5950. Thank you, [redacted]
