Unfortunatley I live 2 1/2 hours each way I have been dealing with trying to get my cover back since May when we picked up my machine . They only made good on my cover after the b b beureau got involved I feel they should mail the cover to me I should not pay for it to be shipped . My address is [redacted] thanks for getting them to make good on something that should have been taken care of months ago thanks [redacted]
The customer brought his boats in for shrink wrap which we performed and the customer took his boats to his house for winter storage. When the customer reported the issue in the spring and he brought his boats into us the shrinkwrap had already been taken off and resecured so we do not know...
when the wrap was removed or the conditions that the boat was stored in. When the boat was examined we found unusual conditions in regard to the anti-mildew containers. Due to the nature of the containers we contacted the manufacturer of the anti-mildew containers and they wanted to inspect them in person. We sent the containers to them and they were inspected by there lab and an outside independent lab. They concluded that there was another chemical present in Mr. [redacted] boats that caused the reaction and the condition in Mr. [redacted] boats. This was confirmed by Starbrite (anti-mildew manufacturer) and an independent lab. Starbrite is not going to pay us for our time to clean the boats or to replace the carpet in Mr. [redacted] boats. We did proceed to clean Mr. [redacted] boats to remove the issues that are in question, at no charge to him. We are not going to replace Mr. [redacted] carpet due to the presence of the foreign chemical and the fact that we did not store the boat and had no knowledge of the conditions it was stored in. We shrinkwrapped 800 boats last year and the issue in question only happened to Mr. [redacted] boats. This would prove to us that there was something present in only Mr. [redacted] boats that caused the issue.
