The vehicle was delivered to our shop via a flatbed truck. Because this vehicle was vandalized it had no windows. Prior to arriving our shop, there was accumulated water inside the car due to weather conditions. The insurance adjuster never included this into the original claim for repairs. The windows were replaced. The vehicle was fully painted due to the large amount of scratches on vehicle from the shattered glass. Once this work was completed the customer was contacted and advised the vehicle was ready for pick up. Upon customer arrival and inspection, customer complained of scratches inner deck lid due to shattered glass. Customer also complained that gas/trunk latch was not working. These items were never approved by the insurance adjuster for replacement/repair. Customer was informed to contact his insurance adjuster and request approval of additional supplement to cover expenses for the latch and deck lid to be replaced. This request was approved by the customers insurance, however the payment for the replacement parts and the labor was paid directly to the customer by his insurance adjuster.
