Revdex.com: I have reviewed the? response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined the response? would not resolve my complaint.? For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Unfortunately, the majority of the information provided by the owner is inaccurate and a misrepresentation of numerous conversations.? The inaccurate information from why we chose to go with A-down to the purchase date of our home has been falsified and shows that this owner is making things up? in an? attempt to cover their unprofessional and unsatisfactory work.We chose to go with A-as we were told there was a guarantee and after doing our own research we thought we were getting the best system.? As stated, we did receive bids at a lower price, but felt this method was going to solve our problems therefore didn't mind spending the extra money.? At this time, it is very apparent that the system they have installed is not the solution and has done nothing but cause more issuesDuring the conversation with the owner we asked why we weren't told to simply do all four walls? and his exact response was, "Would you have paid to have them all done?"? Our response, "Of course, we were looking for a permanent solution."? Based on that one question that shows me that they were attempting to seal a deal by suggesting two walls, expecting the other two walls to begin having issues and for us to later determine it was necessary.? This is a manipulative business practice that should not be condoned nor ignored.Along with other falsified information, the owner did not choose to leave our home, but was told to leave our home.? During our conversation, the? owner became so loud and disruptive that my wife came down to the cellar to see why he was yelling.? At that time, he chose to begin addressing my wife in a condescending manner while she was asking very basic questions.? Rather than answering her simple questions, he kept deferring to comments like, "Well, you said the people that sold you the house are liars" to "Oh...are you in construction"? to "Well, if you take me to court you'll lose" and so on and on and on After all but refusing to carry on a professional conversation once my wife joined the conversation, he began stating that he would not be doing anything for free and we have to pay him another $3,if we want the issue (caused by the implementation of his system) resolved completely.? As his volume continued to rise, my wife looked at him and simply said, "At this time, you need to leave my home."? to which he responded "I don't want this job anyway" as he began to walk up the stairs. While walking up the stairs, I asked him if he was a member of the Revdex.com and he said to me, "You better watch yourself ***."? I was not alone in the cellar and my wife was a witness to his circling around the issue at hand,? never once giving a straight answer or being understanding of our frustrations.? He showed up to our home ready to defend himself rather than assist his customer.? The bottom line is this, the system installed by A-1? absolutely caused the additional water intrusion in our cellar and this company has left us with more water than we had before.? Along with that, we have been? left in a situation that has us? unsure of a proper solution so that our home does not sustain permanent damage caused by this faulty system advertised and guaranteed.? The two walls and steps that have water issues at this time NEVER had any water around them until A-came into our home and created this headache and financial situation for my family Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
At this time, we are willing to review a remediation plan submitted by A-however, we will not be providing the home inspection or the other quote obtained. We again feel the company is getting side tracked and rather than dealing with the situation at hand is looking for ways to defer the attention. A-came to our home, gave us a quote and remediation plan and unfortunately created a larger issue in our home. The other documents requested do not have anything to do with the facts of this situation

The owner of A-1 Indiana Waterproofing has contacted Mr. [redacted] directly as of this morning and given him the same information as we provided to the Revdex.com in regards to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint.  I believe the conversation that was had this morning resolved the issue between Mr. [redacted] and A-1...

Indiana Waterproofing to both parties satisfaction. I have attached a copy of the terms and conditions showing the transfer fee on the contract. Below is a copy of our response to the complaint ID [redacted] made by Mr. [redacted]:First off let me clarify this person is not our customer. This gentleman contacted us on 08/03/17 asking how to transfer the warranty, he advised me that he purchased the home in September of 2016 from our customer [redacted], he stated he had forgotten to transfer the warranty upon purchase, but was going to sell the home and wanted to transfer to the new owner and wanted the information how to do so. I first advised the him that it had 1.) been over a year since he purchased the home, the transfer needed to have been done within 3 months of purchase, 2.) that it would not be transferable to a new owner because he would have been the one time transfer. I did however take his information and advise him I would ask someone to contact him, the person that handles the warranty transfers spoke with this gentleman on 09/14/17. He advised her that he purchased the home in September 2016 and never attempted to transfer the warranty, he was selling the home and wanted to transfer the warranty to the purchaser. She gave him the same information as I did, warranty would not be transferable to a new owner and he had waited too long to transfer the warranty to himself. On October 17, 2017 the owner of A-1 Indiana Waterproofing spoke with this gentleman and again stated the same information not transferable to a new purchaser, however he did offer to allow a transfer to this gentleman with two conditions, 1.) he pay the $25.00 transfer fee 2.) that he pay a $75.00 fee for us to come and inspect the system to make sure it had been properly maintained, if so we would transfer the warranty to him as the current owner. There are maintenance responsibilities that the homeowners are responsible for to keep the warranty valid. If he would like the warranty to be valid then we need to inspect the system to insure it has been properly maintained and he will need to pay the cost of the inspection and the warranty transfer fee. We cannot warranty a system that we are unsure of and the last time we have seen this home was when it was installed, as the previous owner did not sign up for the annual service program we offer to do all the proper maintenance to keep the system in working order.  Thank You,Dusti P[redacted]A-1 Indiana Waterproofing, Inc.
