R & D Heating

Review: R & D Heating is contracted by a home warranty company. They came to our home to fix our hot water heater. They showed up after the "scheduled time" slot. They put a temporary fix to the water heater. They appear unprofessional upon their arrival. It broke a few days later. Another call was placed to the warranty company. I spoke with R & D heating who stated that they couldn't come that day but could come the next day after 4pm. When 5pm came and went, I called R & D Heating again. The guy on the other line told me that they were tied up with a job but would be there (at my house) later and hung up on me. They failed to show. When we called them later they never answered. The warranty company for our home also had a difficult time contacting R&D heating. As per there contract with the home warranty company they have 24 hours to schedule an appt. and 48 hours to come to the home to diagnose the problem. After the 48 hours the guy from R & D called to say that he could come "now". They never scheduled and appointment or returned phone calls prior to the 48 hour window.Desired Settlement: They were paid a $75.00 service trade fee. According to the warranty company they can transfer our service request to another company but we have to pay the 75.00 again. I would like the 75.00 returned to pay a company that will fix the problem and complete the work.
