On 9-21- [redacted] signed a contract with R&D Roofing & Remodeling for $12,to finish the rest of the work pending on her insurance claimThe project scope consisted of installing drip edge around the entire perimeter, remove/demo and replace vinyl siding on sides and come back with hardy-plank siding, remove/demo and replace broken windows, remove/demo damaged French doors and install a Pella sliding door, remove and replace damaged window screens, remove and replace light fixture, remove and replace window blind, and prime and paint entire fascia and drip edgeR&D Roofing and Remodeling started the work in good faith with no money upfrontR&D Roofing and Remodeling completed most of the work and walked the job with the client and the client was happy enough with the work thus far to release the first payment of $to R&D Roofing & RemodelingThe only things pending at this point were a couple of window screens, set of window blinds, the free door screen, and exterior lightThe mortgage company wanted completed pics of the work and wanted a waiver of lien signed before the final payment would be released [redacted] sent the mortgage company the pics of the satisfactory work and R&D Roofing & Remodeling signed the waiver of lien for the full amount of $12,and [redacted] okayed the mortgage company to release the final payment(please refer to attached completed siding pic)R&D roofing & remodeling gave several free upgrades to appease customerWe agreed to paint the entire house which was outside of contract scopeWe also agreed to give the client a free screen for sliding doorThis is where some problems started to ariseThe customer was not happy with the kind of free screen door we gave her, so we replaced it with a pela screen doorShe then stated that she did not want the most durable metal screen that is recommended for the sliding doors we installed, she wanted a vinyl frameWe special ordered it to accommodate herNext, the light we installed was not rightWe went back and fourth between her and her son three times to swap out the light until it accommodated herHer son then stated that she wanted another coat on the free paint job we gave her so we did that as wellHer son then stated that the entire siding was done wrong so we agreed to redo entire siding the way he wanted, which is not standardThroughout this entire project we replaced our crews several timesOur crews have worked with us for several years without incidentWe only switched them out to accommodate her son, who was never happy.The siding failed city inspection twice due to a few loose boards and extra caulking neededR&D Roofing & Remodeling pulls permits and pays the fees to have our work inspected by the city to make sure it is done right(please refer to attached red tag pic) A few touch ups on the siding remain, a couple screens, and a set of blinds is all that is pending to receive the uncollected balance of $5,R&D Roofing and Remodeling takes pride in customer satisfaction and goes above and beyond to try and make every customer happyTo this day 4-10-R&D Roofing & Remodeling is more than willing to do whatever is necessary to pass the city inspection and to complete job scope as per contractIt is [redacted] ' decision to not allow R&D Roofing & Remodeling back on her property to do what we have to do to make things right

with hardy-plank siding, remove/demo and replace 8 broken windows, remove/demo damaged French doors and install a Pella sliding door, remove and replace 9 damaged window screens, remove and replace 1 light fixture, remove and replace 1 window blind, and prime and paint entire fascia and drip edge. R&D Roofing and Remodeling started the work in good faith with no money upfront. R&D Roofing and Remodeling completed most of the work and walked the job with the client and the client was happy enough with the work thus far to release the first payment of $7576.64 to R&D Roofing & Remodeling. The only things pending at this point were a couple of window screens, 1 set of window blinds, the free door screen, and 1 exterior light. The mortgage company wanted completed pics of the work and wanted a waiver of lien signed before the final payment would be released.
