customerI do understand her frustration with power outages and no air. I have

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. While I'm not entirely happy with the response, I am willing to accept a $50 refund.  It should be known, however, that the company references two parts for my a/c unit when only a capacitor was discussed with Mr. S[redacted]. So I'm clueless about a second part because nobody ever said anything about it to me.  Also, if a part came in on 8/1/16, to date (8/3/2016) the company hasn't made mention of it to me directly or in further correspondence here.  I have purchased a new a/c unit.  It was imperative that I had something during the hot spell.  I don't want anything further to do with this company beyond the $50 refund they are willing to send me.  If the company does not perform as promised I can get back to you at: [redacted].

Review: On July 1, 2016 I contacted RG Appliance because my window air conditioner was not working properly. Mr. S[redacted] came July 7, 2016 to find out what was going on. I explained what happened & he said "It is the capacator. I will need to order that part." He never touched the unit. He then showed me pictures of other customer's appliances he serviced, telling me how messy those customers were! I think it was inappropriate to show me the inside of other people's homes & should be considered an invasion of privacy! He was in my home less than 20 mintues & charged me $50 to come to my home & $50 for & I quote "future labor once the part comes in so all that would be left is to pay for the part." July 11, 2016 I called to ask about a delivery date of my part. I had to leave a message on voicemail & they called back, the woman on the other end simply said "Yeah, ya'll called me?" with a t.v. blaring in the background. I explained why I had called, she shuffled some papers & said the part for my *ice maker* had not come in yet. My concern was regarding my air conditioner. She then laughed it off, blamed her computer & said she would do some research & call me back. No return call ever came. July 15, 2016 I called again & got voicemail. This time when the lady called back, she said my part was discontinued. When I asked about a refund since my a/c could not be repaired & they never touched it to begin with, she immediately went on the attack to state the $50 charge for coming to my home & $50 for labor. When I told her Mr. S[redacted] never touched my machine, she ripped me a new one saying she had paperwork showing that he took out the mother board. At this point, I could hear Mr. S[redacted] behind her stating "Just tell her the part hasn't come in yet". So she then said "Oh wait, I got the wrong part! Your part isn't here yet. I'll call you when it comes in. As of today, exactly one week later, still no return call. I want my $100 back.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund. $50 for the labor that NEVER happened and $50 for the three weeks of suffering, sweating in the heat with my broken air conditioner waiting for a part that was probably never ordered in the first place.

I'm buying a new air conditioner instead. I don't want those people in my home ever again.

Over a week and no return calls from messages left....refrig. is freezing everything including the milk...** is the maker..awful!!

Review: Our dishwasher is broken. We used our home warranty to get it fixed. They sent out RG Appliance. They came out and looked at it and told us that a part needed to be ordered and once they got it in, they would come back out. My wife & I paid the $100 deductible. Then it's like they took the money and ran. We called multiple times about the part and requesting to know when they would come out. They never returned our calls and finally we had to call the warranty company to have them make RG Appliance return our call. Since that time we have scheduled 3 follow-up appointments, and they have not shown up. In fact, they told us that they'd be at the house today at 1:30, and they are over 45 mins late as I write this! My wife took off from work to be home for these people and they keep no-showing. I'm military and my wife is a nurse. Due to our jobs and hectic schedules, it's extremely rude, annoying, and inconvenient for these people not to show multiple times. When I call them they don't return my calls and when they do they constantly have excuse after excuse as to why they did not show. I'd never recommend this company to anyone. They're liars and thieves. I can't believe that they're allowed to run a business in such a way.Desired Settlement: I'd like for this company to actually finish that job that we have paid for and to do it in a timely fashion. Personally, I feel as though our money should be refunded as my wife has missed out on well more than $100 worth of work time to be around for these people.
