8/12=Mr. [redacted] called to respond to complaint. Business replaced customers' windshield twice. The technician who replaced it the first time is no longer with the business, so he can not be asked about parts that did nor did not exist at that time. Missing/broken parts were not noted at the time.... When the windshield was replaced the second time, business pointed out to customer that the two-sided tape was in place. Business was being honest about how they found the windshield, and that it was safe to operate going forward. It is not known when the two-sided tape was put in place. Customer had driven the car two months with the two-sided tape in place. Customer was asked if she wanted the part ordered, and business ordered it. It could be the dealer put in the two-sided tape. Business disagrees with the dealer that the whole mirror has to be ordered in order to obtain the part, as he has found the individual part elsewhere. The business would have ordered both parts if both were broken at his business.
