Review: A check was sent to this company in October 2012, and cashed, for Mother's name to be engraved on a headstone at her gravesite and of today and after numerous phone calls to the company the engraving has not been completed.Desired Settlement: For the Company to complete the job he was paid to do.

Review: Imbruglia Monuments has failed to engrave my family monument with my sister's name and dates of birth/death. The arrangements were made on September 4, 2014. I paid in full for the service. I made at least four phone calls to the business in October (1 call), November 2014 (2 calls), and March 1 8, 2015 (1 call) and left messages on the answering machine describing my problem and asking the proprietor to return my call. Two calls were not returned at all. During two other call backs the proprietor said he would "take care of it immediately." In a visit to the cemetery on March 28, 2015 I verified that the engraving was still NOT done.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the payment I made in September 2014. Imbruglia Monuments has my name and address to which the refund can be sent.

Review: In October, 2013, I entered into a contract with Imbruglia to install a cemetery monument. To date, he has not done a thing except make excuses and make promises regarding future performance, none of which he keeps. To date, I have paid a significant deposit of $800. For the past several months, I have been regularly following up with Imbruglia in an attempt to understand the delays and move the process forward. Since Imbruglia did not return my phone calls, I have had to go to his place of business to get answers. When questioned, Mr. Imbruglia has well rehearsed excuses, blaming the cemetery, the monument company, the truckers; everyone but himself and never admitting personal responsibility for the delays. I was told on several occasions that the work would definitely and absolutely be done in the next week or two. On every occasion the deadline would pass and nothing would have been done.Desired Settlement: I would like Mr. Imbruglia to adhere to the terms of the contract and immediately install the cemetery monument. If this task cannot be completed promptly, I would like a complete refund of the $800 deposit.

Review: I paid for a headstone for my sister in full on 9/27/14. I was promised that within 2 weeks the headstone would be placed on my sister. Calling the business every week there after, the headstone is still not there. Through my many phone calls I was always promised that by the next week it would be there. It is now 12/22/14 the headstone is still not there and they are not answering my phone calls.Desired Settlement: I feel that this matter is never going to be resolved due to the fact that my many phone calls are going unanswered.

Review: We paid the company $425 to engrave an existing headstone. They cashed the check on June 15, 2014. It is now September. Attempts to make follow up contacts have failed.Desired Settlement: Either do the engraving or refund the money.

Review: I paid a deposit of $200 for Mr. [redacted] to engrave my father's name and dates on an existing headstone, along with a $125 fee for the cemetery to allow the work to be done, on March 22, 2014. Over the course of the last year, I have had some difficulty in reaching Mr. [redacted], however, when he did return my phone calls, he assured me that the work would be done, that he had been delayed due to weather, and a previous backlog of customers. When I called his business today, the phone was disconnected.Desired Settlement: At this point, I would like a refund from Mr. [redacted] of the deposit of $200, and the cemetery fee of $125, so that I may contact another business to do the engraving.

Review: In 2007 my husband and I decided to preplan our funeral arrangements. We purchased our headstone from [redacted] and paid in full. My husband passed away on March 30, 2013 and I contacted [redacted] to have the headstone placed at the cemetery with my husband's date of death to be added. [redacted] promised that it would be completed in 1 or 2 weeks. Everytime I have called or my daughter has called [redacted] makes promises and excuses as to why the headstone wasn't placed at the cemetery. This past October, [redacted] refuses to take our phone calls. I am not in the best of health and would want to see the headstone up at the cemetery before my passing.Desired Settlement: All I want is my husband's headstone to be placed along with the inscription of his date of death at the cemetery. If this cannot be done, then I want a full refund for the $2700.00 that was paid to him in full.

Review: On behalf of our family, my mother, [redacted], contracted Mr [redacted] to engrave and deliver a headstone for my fathers grave. It has been a year and a half since my father passed away and everything has been paid in full to the cemetery and Mr. [redacted] for the work he has done so far. To date the stone has not been placed in the cemetery and he is impossible to get in contact with. An admin assistant, [redacted], at the cemetery has told us she knows of another family who is going through the same issues with Mr. [redacted]. [redacted] has also made several calls to Mr. [redacted] and continues to get the runaround. Mr. [redacted] is a crook and he deserves to be put out of business! Please help us get what we paid for as well as peace and closure to my fathers death. Thank you!Desired Settlement: If Mr. [redacted] cannot finish the job, we want our headstone which we know has been engraved. We will make arrangements directly with the cemetery to have it picked up and installed.

Please note there are other customers still waiting for their monuments, some as long as 3 years! I do not recommend anyone do business with this man.

Review: Ordered Cemetery monument from Imbruglia Monuments on 9/28/2013. Kept getting the run around as to when the monument would be ready. Started questioning when it would be ready in June of 2014. Would go and speak with owner and he would state that it would be ready in 2-3 weeks, but never was - he outright lied over and over. It was never delivered nor placed at the cemetery. Total outlay was $ 1,000Desired Settlement: Finish the job by placing monument at cemetery or if never prepared - full cash refund.

Review: On December 11, 2012, I contracted with Imbruglia to engrave my mothers name on her headstone. I paid them $425.00 using check number 143. The stone is located at [redacted] Cemetary in [redacted] , NJ. The name on the stone is [redacted] and the name to be engraved is: [redacted] with the dates of birth being: January 15, 1940 and date of death: January 14, 2011 The information should be in the same format as the engraving that is already on the stone for my Father, [redacted]. Despite numerous calls the company refuses to honor their commitment to engrave this stone. This service is paid in full! It is disgraceful that the name is missing on the stone for over one year and that this company continues to do this as indicated by the number of Revdex.com complaints against them. This is being done to honor my Mother and has caused a tremendous amount of grief and aggrevation added to an already heartbreaking situation. I want this resolved at once.Desired Settlement: I want the name on the stone before Christmas this year!!!

Review: Paid for a marker for mothers grave and he have never put the marker in fair lawn memorial gardens. When I call he will say they going to ship overnight and he have told me that thee time in the past month. I paid for the marker in July 2013 when I was in New Jersey they said it would be ready in six weeks after purchased. They have not contacted fairlawn memorial niether
