R. J. Boyd Electric

One of the best electrical companies I have used. Both father and son were very professional, friendly, explained every step, worked in a timely manner and performed an excellent job here at my house. I will certainly use them again in the future and highly recommend them.

I called R.J. Boyd Electric to fix a malfunctioning garbage disposal, and received a service call the next day. The technician gave me updates during the day about his arrival time, which helped me know when to expect him. (Other companies give a wide window of when they'll arrive, but R.J. Boyd didn't force me to block off the entire day.)

When they arrived, they diagnosed the problem within minutes-- a faulty ON/OFF switch by the sink, and replaced it immediately. All in all, they spent about 15 minutes to fix a problem that I had been experiencing for weeks. I wish I had called them sooner! I was impressed by how professional and friendly they were as well. I would use them again, and recommend them to others needing electrical repairs.

I needed an old whole house breaker box changed out. [redacted] first thought it would be 3 weeks but were able to fit me into their schedule after 1 week. They said the job would take 3 to 4 hours and after 3 hours 45 min the were gone. Every breaker had to be re-wired. They did excellent work at a fair price.

EXCELLENT SERVICE! You just don't find this kind of professionalism today! Mr. Boyd and his son were extremely efficient and communicated everything to us. They even went above and beyond on two separate occasions for things they did not have to do (was not apart of the job), but we hadn't thought though. They swept and my husband and I were joking that the garage floor was cleaner after they left than before they arrived! :) Great service, professional, and all about customer service! Will definitely be recommending!

I would recommend R. J. Boyd Electric if someone asked me regarding who could do electrical work. I called Mr. Boyd & my call was returned the same day. Within 48 hours Mr. Boyd came to review & prepare the estimate for the work required to install two ceiling fans with heat for two bathrooms, find & repair an electrical fault in the kitchen, downstairs hallway area, & install 3 new outdoor receptacles in the carport. The estimate was ready within 24 hours & he scheduled my request to be completed the following week. He & his son arrived on time on the date he said they would arrive, they were very professional in doing their work & cleaned up the work area satisfactorily.

These guys are nothing short of amazing! I had to have a new meter box installed they came on a Friday to see what they needed and it was done and fixed the following monday!! They were on time and didn't stop working untill the job was done. Also they have a great relationship with local inspectors. They fought hard with aep on my behalf. I'd trust them with any other work I will need in the future. A plus also they have a great sense of humor. If you want reasonable reliable service these are your guys!! They worked hard in the freezing rain and snow and bitter wind. Thanks a million rj electric inc!!

We have a jacuzzi tub that is 21 years old. The power switch broke and the unit would not turn off. I had to order a conversion kit since the original part was no longer available. [redacted] was able to make the new part work and took him no time at all. He is very honest and shows up when promised. I highly recommend R.J. Boyd electric.

[redacted] came out to my brothers house and gave us a quote on a panel up-grade and the price was very good. He then arrived on site the day he told us and performed the job in a good time frame and everything looked very neat. We are very happy with the work that he did.

Although busy with commercial work, they were willing to do a small residential repair. They were very knowledgeable and the trouble shooting was very effective. Both were pleasant, polite, and took the time to explain the problem and solution to me. They charged a VERY fair price for their work. I now keep Boyd Electric "on speed dial" for my electrical needs.

Mr. Boyd's professionalism and efficiency excelled expectations. He was timely, knew what he was doing, and went beyond the call-of-duty, when installing an emergency back-up generator (he found that an older installation had a critical negative-wire missing; he didn't charge extra to fix this problem, which was very nice.

He also checked the whole home's system, which proved it was OK; no 'up-selling' or other tactics, only real, professional explanations.

For the perfectly finished product, honesty, fairness, trustworthiness...go no further.
