My father bought a$gallon cabinet mounted water heater from RJ Walker in January of this year of I found it sitting in my father's garage in september of the same year, still in the box I found the receipt took heater to the brodheadsville store were it was purchased and asked to return itI was told there would be a restocking fee, which I agreed with due to the terms clearly posted on the wall behind the sales counter The salesman then fiddled with the computer and said cant return it it's to old I asked why He explained that there is a purchase date on the box and we dont want anything that old in the store I asked if that effected the warranty, he replied no So I asked why would the age of the product matter if the warranty is still intact His response was the generic its policy I asked to speak with a manager, to which the salesman supposedly called John Walker, sarcasticly said I have a guy with a month old water heater and wants to return itThen said okay several times hung up the phone and said to me, "he said no" then just stared at me I asked to speak with John Walker for him to explain the policy I was placed on the phone with John Walker who as I started to speak would just talk over me saying "not my problem" or "I dont care." Once he stopped speaking over me I asked him to explain the policy since there were several return polices posted in the store, but none of them had anything to do with a time line John said he would try to sell the heater at a discounted price When I asked what the price would be, John's response was I'm not going to argue it's not my problem and hung up The sad part about the whole thing was that the salesman told me that they cycled through and reordered the water heater at least times since this one was purchased I would just like to have the item returned as a resolution

a few months ago I searched for a floor plan for basement and I called rj walker as a new customer mary kay was sent down to look at basement she told me I had to have in a check upon her arrival she recommended days later that if I ordered something there they can deduct the floor plan as an incentive since they cant match competitors price which was home depot for a *** *** toilet home depot price was rj walker at the time was she suggested I order there and it would save me a little so I did during this time, mary kay said she wasnt done with floor plan and then had a heated conversation with me telling me she was quitting soon and that I didnt buy anything there so why should she give me a floro planshe said it was understood she would do a floor plan provided I gave her more business but I told her that I bought a *** *** and I paid the dollars without any other strings attached at that moment she hung up on me and I called supervisor
