R J Wiley Heating & A/C & Duct Cleaning

We arranged for our ducts to be cleaned by R J Wiley days ago The service technician attended our home whereby my wife was home alone at the time He told my wife to turn the heat on to degrees Our thermostat reads in celsius so she changed it to to reflect degrees The technician then stated in a rude tone "I told you put it at 30'" So she changed it
The technician then began to walk to our basement and the lights were turned out My wife turned the light on so he could see and he yelled at her to turn the light outSo she did He then went to retrieved a large tool/carrying case with wheels which he was bringing down the stairs My wife was concerned that he was going to fall down the stairs with the large piece of equipment so she turned the light on for him to see the steps He yelled at her in a louder voice stating "I told you to leave the light off." So she turned it off
He then conducted his work After the work was over my wife was curious as to what was found in the ducts as we just had many renovations completed He refused to show her In the past, most technicians are glad to show what was found in the ducts
The company indicates it does Heating and Airconditioning My wife asked him if the humidifier filter was supposed to be hard and look the way it did since we recently moved to the home and didn't have a humidifier on our previous furnace He stated "how am I supposed to know" and told her to read the instructions We assumed that since the company specializes in HVAC, the technician would know something about the humidifier attached to the furnace
The last and most concerning thing was that when the technician was done the work, he attended my wifes bedroom unannounced were she was remaining during the work and said that he was ready for the bill to be paid She told him that she would be down in a minute and he was hesitant to leave the bedroom She motioned for him to leave the bedroom and they both went to the main floor and she provided the credit card number to him At the time my wife was a bit flustered and somewhat feared the man due to his rude comments, yelling and the fact that he showed up unannounced in her bedroom He asked for the security code and rudely told her it was on the back of the card as if she was an incompetent person He then left after being paid and told her to have a nice day
We have had about tradespersons in our house over the summer doing various renovations Each time someone wanted to speak with us or needed something, they would call up to us if we were up stairs or in the bedroom Not one of them slitently walked up to our bedroom unnanounced Especially with my wife home alone This was the most concerning aspect of the technician
I was going to attend the business myself to complain, but realized it is a single family dwelling house, which leads me to believe that it is a single person who owns his own company I therefore did not attend the technician's personal residence
Out of all of the trades people we have had in our home, he was the only one who was rude, demeaning and awkward I will never recommend him to anyone, especially women who live alone
