Review: On February 15th 2013 I purchased a 1999 Lexus GS 300 from RK Autos and I've had pure stress ever since that day. Approximately 6 hours after I purchased this car it started smoking along with running hot almost catching fire. I took back to the dealer and promised to get it fixed however he took the car to another shop where it was rained in due to the window being left down, there was bug in the car as well as the vehicle not even been touched in 3 weeks. I went to speak with the guys who works there and they said they wouldn't touch the car because RK Autos owner never pay them for their work. I then became very upset considering that I'd given my entire income tax check (4,200) to make sure I had a vehicle to get me as well as my children to and from school. The owner ([redacted]) then told me he would give me a loaner car which practically broke down as well. The door on the Saturn loaner car randomly flew open while I drove with my kids in the car. He then put me in another loaner car that needed a brake change extremely bad almost causing a bad accident. He then told that he could switch my Lexus and give me a 2000 BMW that has also broke down on me, smoking, running hot, and almost caught on fire. I went back to RK Autos and the meet 2 others who's going through the same issue. Now [redacted] is not speaking to me and refuses to fix the car as he promise.I'm a single mother of three children who I can't even enjoy during springbreak due to this headache. I now have a broke down BMW which I didn't even come to purchase to begin with and this guy doesn't even care.Not to mention that I've had 2 of hiscars towed at my expense due to him not caring that these type of cars should not even be on the road ways however doesn't care.He even gave me cars without insurance saying "you'll be okay just drive the speed limit". He treats his employees like garbage and cares nothing about helping. He gets bogus inspection stickers on cars. And I was told that my Lexus won't start and has an electrical problem.Desired Settlement: Even though I would love to get a refund which he refuses to give, I just want buyers to be made aware of the cars on his lot. Mr. [redacted] gave me two loaner cars that broke down or had major issue that could had killed me or others out on the road. He is praying on poor individuals taking there money saying that he has good cars that's dependable when clearly there not. It should be against the law to sell cars like this. The road ways are the reason why our air is so poluted due to this reaso.

WE DID ADVISE THE CUSTOMER TO TAKE THE OTHER VEHICLE TO MECHANIC TO GET IT CHECK OUT BEFORE GETTING VEHICLE.WE DO NOT MAKE THESE VEHICLE. WE DO CHECK THEM OUT AND TEST DRIVE THE VEHICLE LIKE THE CUSTOMER TEST THE VEHICLE TOO. I really can't believe that this company is saying that I've been calm with this issues. If that's the case, why would I have called the police to R.K. Autos because I felt as if I wasn't being helped and wanted justice to be served. The cop spoke to one of the employees there, who advised him that he was going to fix the car which never happened. I purchased the car February 15th and I'm still walking, borrowing my moms car, or catching rides with friends just to get my kids back and forth to school. I'm not the only customer that has had these problems, I actually met a guy when I was at the dealership who had just purchased a truck there and his vehicle has also broken down, he advised me that he is taking action also. R.K. Autos has been a total disaster. Since purchasing this car I have been at this place at least 15 times trying to get things moving toward my car being fixed. Now that I have taken my Lexus from the mechanic that he provided, I've been told by my new mechanic that someone sprayed ant spray on electrical wires which has caused the car to now have an electrical problem. I have proof that my car was at least starting up when I brought it to the shop. Now it's not even starting since they have had the car. I have not been treated the way a paying customer should be treated. I payed 4,250 for a car that has more problems than its had even when I first purchased. This is ridiculous and everyone should no about the torture that not only I've felt, but also my kids who depends on mommy to get them back and fourth to school, church, practice ect. No matter what they say...Justice needs to be served before another struggling individual has to deal with this disaster.

To be exact the other client that also had problems with R.K. Autos bought a white Ford Expedition from you guys. He and I meet while waiting on [redacted] (the [redacted]), to get to the shop so that we both could complain about the condition our cars where in. The bottom line is this. I just took the 99 Lexus to a mechanic who has advised me that there is a blown head gasket along with an electrical problem which is why the vehicle is not working. After hearing this, along with all of my troubles, it's obvious to me that the first day that I purchased this vehicle, R.K. AUTO'S, sold it to me with a blown head gasket, and now they've caused another issuse due to them spraying bug spray on wires. I was quoted that it is going to cost between $2,500-$3,000 to fix this vehicle. I am extremely upset along with being hurt that I have given R.K. AUTO'S all of my money and I'm still without a vehicle. I'm a struggling mother and nursing student who's funds are little to nothing, there is no way that I could afford to get this car fixed. R.K. Auto's advised me that they would fix my Lexus the day after I purchased it, and they never did. I was very patient, however after weeks went by and there was noting but excuses, yes I have become very angry. The only reason that I was still communicating with R.K. Autos was because they still had possession of my vehicle, "proclaming that it was being fixed" when obviously it wasn't being touched. I have not spoken to anyone at R.K. Autos since I've gotten the broken down Lexus, just to make sure that my Tax Title and License are on there way to me/ to get back $150 that was owed to me for TT&L. Not to mention that I've had to tow 3 times at my expense due to the vehicles breaking down. I'm very upset about the way that I've been treated in this situation. Every customer should be treated with some sort of professionalism when spending their money with any company. At R.K. Auto's this will "NEVER" happen.

After reading the last statement that was sent from RK autos stating that they fixed the BMW and would be willing to put me back in the 2000 BMW provided that I get it checked by a licensed mechanic, I decided to call them to see if we could work something out. The owner [redacted] acted as if he had no knowledge of what I was saying and was not willing to do anything "HANGING UP THE PHONE". This is clearly what I've been dealing with the entire time. He stated in his last statement that he had been the one towing the vehicles as if I have not had to have 3 tows at my expense which I have receipts as proof that I've actually done. Im standing my ground about the conversation that I had with the male at RK autos in reference to the problem he was having at the same time I was having my problem.[redacted] is a lie and has lyed about getting my car fixed and trying to help me in any way at all. I have a list of things wrong with this 99 lexus that I will never be able to fix.Its sad that he doesnt even want to fix the electrical problem that he casued after I took it back the next day due to them spraying bug spray in electrical wires.The tires are now dry rotted from sitting at the mechanic shop that [redacted] took it to, sitting for weeks not even being touched when he told me that it was being fixed. So now its dry rotted tires, no heater in the car, the radiator is practicaly hanging due to me just finding out by my mechanic that this car has been in a wreck. My mechanic also advised me that it would be best to get a new motor costing 1,200 for only the motor (and this is why it broke down the first day I purchased it). Its like im in a nightmare. Please help me make sure no one else is treated the way I' ve been treated. I have tried to work with these people and they have no customer service and is only about conning people out of their money. If someone says their gonna fix something as he stated he would, even in his statements, that the mechanic was supposed to do, I strongly believe that he should be held to that, however thats never been done. Its absolutely wrong to run a business the way that RK autos runs their business and I want all buyers to beware. Money is very hard to get and I want no one to just give it away to people who clearly doesnt deserve it.

Review: The company does not follow their contract about late fees. The tow company stated that I was supposed to bring proof of insurance and 350. The contract states late fee is 5%. The owner stated that he doesn't know what the contract states and only goes by the system. He stated that I would have to pay $400. Later stated that I would have to pay 350. 5% of 300 is $315. He is giving me the run around.Will not tell me what to pay. He said he will call back later because he doesn't want to give me information. I asked what the next process is and he is unwilling to do so.Desired Settlement: I want my down payment back. He can have the car back. He needs to fix the contracts. He is doing bad business.
