its chlorination and cleanliness standardsSymptoms of those with the parasite include intestinal distressFriday, August 19, Maricopa County issued another statement indicating the outbreak is now community-wide and being spread through multiple public venues, family members, caregivers, etcIf Crypto was present at Wet ‘n’ Wild Phoenix, it has been eliminatedThe park took immediate action upon notification of the original outbreak and raised chlorination levels in the entire park to a hyper-chlorination or “shocking” protocol, which the CDC confirms kills any Crypto that might be presentWet ‘n’ Wild Phoenix ensured no employee or patron was allowed into the water until any Crypto present was killed and the water safeWe repeated this “shocking” of the entire water park every week since the outbreak for a total of three timesThis additional “shocking” is not required for a Cryptosporidium outbreak, but reflects the park’s priority to exceed every recommendation to keep our guests and team members safeWe are committed to hyper-chlorinate the pools at Wet ‘n’ Wild Phoenix thru the duration of this outbreakBoth prior to and during the announcement of the outbreak, the waterpark remains in compliance with all CDC recommendations and Maricopa Country Environmental Services Department standardsSafe and clean water is, and always has been our number one priorityAs members of this community we remain vigilant for the safety of our guests and your families, our own families, and our valued team members

We apologize for the confusion on the coupons offered your employees and appreciate you bringing the concern forward. As is typical with many amusement and waterparks, we do offer guests discounts for purchasing tickets online.One of our “Online Only” discounts is the Twilight...

admission for $19.99 after 5 p.m. as shown on our website: [redacted]://[redacted]/#The coupon was a way to extend a similar opportunity for those that do not purchase tickets online, but purchase them at the gate.  The back of the coupon clearly states that the $20 off offer may not be combined with “Twilight Discounts” even though it is impossible for guests to redeem paper coupons (no promo codes included) while making an online purchase. Similarly, guests that pay at the gate do not receive any online discounts.Again we apologize for the confusion between any “online” discounts and tickets purchased at the gate, and hope this has clarified your concerns.Thank you for your support, we hope to see you and your employees enjoying the park in the future.
