Bought a 2003 honda CR-V FWD with 166k miles for $5300.00 during tax season beginning of 2015. Didnt have the car a day and had a p0420 code come up with the check engine light. Took it back to dealer they had there "Mechanic" hook a OBD reader to it and said it was ok and the code shouldnt come back. drove on high way less then 10 mins check engine light back on.Took it to honda and honda estimated cost at 1900.00 dollars to replace the catylitic converter. Took it back to dealer and his "Mechanic" said no it needed a valve adjustment. I was told by a World Class Master Honda Mechanic not to let them tear into the motor since he (Dealer) stated the timing belt was replaced and valves were replaced and he wouldnt let me keep the records that say that it was replaced because it had peoples personal info on them but why would you keep them if im the new owner of the car ? but long story short thuis dealer is the complete outline of a good talking car salesman tell you what you want to hear but the bottom line is its probaly junk. I recommend you take any car you purchase from this dealer to a professional and not his "Mechanic" to have a full computer diagnosis ran on it and fully inspected. Dont be fooled by the fool. Im the prime example
