I have received the complaint number [redacted]

I'm aware of the customer concerns, as they have stated that they have made trips to California the vehicle is still on the road being used every day. The word Defective is to broad term. The customer did not have a pre inspection done on the...

vehicle.
The customer [redacted] is from France. The use of the word Defective is incorrect.
This word is being used as meaning as serviced!. If the engine was defective and transmission defective, the vehicle would be at our lot, NOT BEING DRIVEN TO CALIFORNIA AND TO VVORK EVERY DAY.
Our laws and rules are close to the same as in France. You have the right to have pre inspections before purchasing the vehicle if they want. You also have the right to purchase warranties to the vehicles. VVe always recommend that the customers purchase an after-market warranty or service agreement from the following companies or one of their choosing.
Oregon Community Credit Union
Selco Credit Union
Northwest Community Credit Union

The credit unions listed above, sale some of the best warranties on the market today.
The key word is to purchase, not be given. If the customer wishes purchase any of these warranties. They are welcome to do so.
But to complete the complaint, we will enclosing the copy of the Federal Disclaimer. VVe trying to keep in mind there is a Privacy Act in the United States. VVe are sending copies of the parts invoices that were installed when we purchased the vehicle and or sold the vehicle.

The customer took delivery on the vehicle on 08/30/2016

So the repla cement of the battery was not done at time of pick up from the dea lership. She had left her lights on by leaving the door open and ran the new battery flat . A recharge would have been warr anted to resolve the problem. The statement saying the transmission fluid and flus h is a service, not defect ive. And again the driving to California depending on how many miles s he is driving. She will need to have the e ngine oil changed every 3000 miles. This is not defective just servic ing. If the window is opened I would recommend she have it looked at by he r auto tech instead of complaining. The w indows were work ing and door locks functionin g at the time of purchase.
If the Revdex.com has any other questions, Feel free to give mea call.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:

I hereby answer to R&L Motors INC.'s letter concerning my complaint number [redacted].
The 2004 Jeep Liberty is not on the road every day because it got hard to drive it since my last trip in California in September. Stating that I use my car to go to work every day is a false statement. I have to take the taxi to go to work because my car's issues have gotten worse since my last trip in California. Going to work with a taxi costs me around 400 US dollars per month; a fee I would not have to pay if my car was functioning properly.
It is extremely rude and discriminatory to assume that because I am French, I do not use the adjective defective correctly.
Please see the definition of the above mentioned word below.
de·fec·tive
d?'fektiv/
adjective
= imperfect or faulty.
"complaints over defective goods"

synonyms:
faulty, flawed, imperfect, shoddy, inoperative, malfunctioning, out of order, unsound;
in disrepair

The use of the word defective is therefore correct and this is the exact word that the mechanic Rob C[redacted] used after checking my 2004 Jeep Liberty in California (see Rob C[redacted] statement attached).
Mister Ron J[redacted] quotes in his answer to my complaint “We always recommend that the customers purchase an after-market warranty o... the following companies or one of their choosing.”
Both salesmen who my husband and I talked to the day of our purchase did not recommend us to buy a warranty. They stated that warranties are barely ever used by customers and therefore we should not worry about getting one at all.
In the documents that Mister Ron J[redacted] attached, it states that I took delivery of the vehicle on 08/30/2016 which is wrong. The date of sale was on 08/23/2016 and I took delivery of the car the same day I bought it which was on 08/23/2016 (please see date of sale R&L Motors INC. attached).
Also, the invoice he attached relating to a battery bought at KNECHT'S AUTOPARTS on 08/30/2016 does not concern me since I bought my car on 08/23/2016 and got my car battery changed on 08/29/2016 by a Walmart Auto Care Center employee (please see battery replacement invoice from Walmart attached).
If I had taken delivery of my car on 08/30/2016, how would you explain that I got its battery replaced by a Walmart are Center employee on 08/29/2016?
It is rude and particularly unprofessional to assume that I left my car lights on by leaving the car door open. Any issues regarding running the battery dead are hearsay.
To respond to Mister Ron J[redacted]'s comment concerning the engine oil change; I am very aware of the fact that the engine oil has to be changed regularly and as a responsible person, I did get my engine oil on 09/14/2016 at Jerry & Walt's Complete Auto Care during a check up (please see engine oil change invoice attached).
I'd like to add that the car doors were malfunctioning the same day I bought the 2004 Jeep Liberty.
It was too late for me to bring it back since I had already signed the contract and knew I could not return the car. Since the car issues got worse, I finally decided to contact Revdex.com and an Attorney General.
It is literally too dangerous to drive this car on the highway since it won't speed up properly and smoke comes out of the exhaust. It is dangerous for my life and the life of the other drivers which is why I can't drive it on the highway.
Also, as for the rear main seal being replaced before I bought the car, it is indicative of a catastrophic oil leak which would lead to the problems I am complaining about now. At the time of the purchase, I did not have the awareness I do have nowadays concerning cars.
My husband and I got taken advantage of because of our young age and lack of experience. We got lied about the quality of the vehicle.
If R&L Motors INC. fails to provide us with a full rescission or fails to provide us with a car that actually functions, I will have to contact my lawyer.
If Revdex.com needs a better quality image of all the enclosed documents, I can go to a library and scan them or send copies to Revdex.com via mail.
If Revdex.com has any other questions, feel free to contact me [redacted]
Sincerely,[redacted]
