Hello,I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused youR+L's published rules tariff item section F advises that our limitations of liability for "used, reconditioned, or refurbished" items is $per poundIn attempts to bring satisfaction to the settlement of the freight claim R+L increased the pay out to $per pound which is 900% above our limitations of liabilityThe bill of lading that was signed by the shipper of the goods agreeing to all the terms and conditions does not declared a value for the goodsR+L's offer of $per pound for the claim will remain the same.Thank you

The guaranteed delivery service that is mentioned states it applies once the shipment has been picked upOnce the shipment is picked up then the shipment is guaranteed to deliver on the due service date based on our published transit time from the date of the actual pickupThe rules tariff sub states The scheduled delivery commitment is based on the date the pickup actually occurs and not on the date that the pickup was scheduled to occur (i.e., does not cover missed pick-ups)R+L Guaranteed Delivery covers all Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) direct shipments originating from and destined to all points in the contiguous statesThe shipment delivered on time on the due date based on when the shipment was picked up

At the time of pickup the R+L driver advised the shipper that the product was not packaged properly for shipping to protect it and advised them that if they choose to continue to ship the product without the proper packaging they would be shipping it at their riskThe customer chose to continue to ship it with the improper packagingI have reviewed the movement of this shipment while in R+L's possession and do not see any signs of the shipment being mishandled during transportationThe shipment was presented to the receiver in the same condition that R+L received itR+L was not able to unpackage the shipment at time of pick up to inspect the shipment to confirm its conditionThe damage claim remains denied based on my research

Revdex.com:I only had two choices to respond to R&L carriers and their reply that they were waiting to hear from [redacted] (their customer) does not solve or offer any solutions We believe R&L Carriers should cancel the bill they keep sending to us and instead deal with [redacted] directly We will continue to complain about this matter until R&L Carriers stops their harrassment of us

Hello, [redacted] is not listed anywhere on the shipping paperwork that was provided to R+L at the time of shippingSince they are not on the paperwork I'm unfortunately not able to take any instructions from themI apologize but I cannot just change the shipping terms that was provided on the bill of lading without the proper authorizationsMaybe if [redacted] contacts the shipper they could convince the shipper to make the correctionI apologize for the frustration and headache this has caused

The shipment was attempted to be delivered on 6/26/as stated and due to the grass in the customers driveway the shipment was not able to be delivered where the shipment was requestedThe driver has to use a pallet jack to move the freight and a pallet jack will only function on solid services such as blacktop or concreteGrass, dirt and rocks make it extremely difficult for a pallet jack to functionR+L Carriers attempted to contact the customer several times at ###-###-#### but received a recording stating the mailbox was full and the call disconnectedFreightCenter was contacted and they have arranged for the customers shipment to be picked up from R+L Carriers dock by another carrier on July 18th, and be delivered to the customer as requestedI apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you

R+L Carriers did not package the hood that could have caused that type of damageWhen the shipment was presented to our driver at the time of pickup we do not have the option to open it so we can inspect the condition of the product inside the packagingSince there were no signs of damage to the packaging R+L is not able to accept liability for the damaged product inside the packaging

All the log will indicate is what cities it was transported to and whom picked it up I have video of the range prior to pickup (but after it had already been placed on a pallet) which shows it in great condition I removed it from the shipping wrap immediately upon getting it to my home to discover the damages incurred I called R&L within hour of receiving it to report the damages.It is completely improbable to think that the seller would have damaged the range after packaging it but before the shipping company arrived for pickup Additionally, I was the one who paid for the shipping cost Why would the shipping company not contact me to advise that the service I was paying for and product I was to receive would not have any protection due to negligence by the seller whom is not their customer at all? The shipping company clearly damaged the product while in their possession and I will not rest until they do what is necessary to make this right R&L should pay for the repairs to have the range returned to the condition it was in at the time they took possession Regards, [redacted] ***

After reviewing the claim it has been determined that there’s been no mishandling during transportation in R+L’s possessionAs the customer indicated in the Revdex.com case there were no exterior signs of damage to the packaging that would cause damage to the item(s) insideAttached is a copy of the signed delivery receipt from the consignee stating the material was received in good conditionIn the event the customer finds concealed damages they have up to days to report the issue to the carrier which is outlined in the attached Damage Claim InstructionsAt this time R+L’s stance remains the same denying the claim

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I have already contacted them and opened a claim That requires me getting two estimates to remove the tree limbs and repair the tree They can contact someone and do this themselves, it is an issue they created I have already been inconvenienced by having to deal with the rude driver, move the limbs so our neighbors could get into their driveway, cleanup the leaves and debris, inform my neighbor of the issue and contact the company and the Revdex.com It has already been enough of a hassle for what should have been a simple delivery They can address removing the limbs and having a tree company trim the broken branches Regards, [redacted]
