On 4/23/we employed Two Men and a Truck to move our belonging from Tuscaloosa, AL to Lafayette, LAThe initial loading if the items was done professionallyHowever, the truck broke down somewhere between Tuscaloosa, AL and Lafayette, LAAnother truck was brought in and our items were literally thrown into the new truckThe drivers of the truck confirmed to us that it was total chaos and that it was rushed and items were damagedUpon arriving in LA, the contents of the truck looked as if they had been thrown inWe inspected each item and documented thisSome items are metal and cannot be repairedThere are fourteen items total damagedThis furniture was new and had only ever been in one location before this moveIt was documented at the time of the move that there was NO damage to this furnitureWe were assured in an email and via phone by ***

My sister recently moved to Tuscaloosa and used Two Men She asked me for help on the payment and I agreed to pay half (or $of $896) I called up Two Men and gave them my credit card information and instructed them to only charge $of the balance They agreed and said they would run the card later that afternoon I was told the conversation was recorded
A few days after the move I noticed my card had been charged the entire amount of $ As such, I called up *** to inquire about the error in payment He told me, to my surprise, someone claiming to be my sister had called and instructed him to run the entire payment on the card As this was not true and not the agreement I made with Two Men earlier in the day, I wondered why they took the word of someone over the phone without consulting me for consent or verifying the new informationI never recieved a receipt for the service nor did I sign c

Two Men and a Truck moved all my furniture to storage about years agoI hired them again for another move once my house was finished being builtThis time I used trucks and men thinking I would save time and moneyI was wrong! The men worked at a very slow pace and was off task the majority of the timeI think this is a tactic they use to get more money from customersThe estimated time was hours and it took about hours instead! I was then charged $more than I had agreed on spending with them.Furniture was still not put together in some rooms during this time frameHardware was missing so that was one excuseWhich was lost by this companyA mirror was torn from the frame in one of the bed sets that they did not put back togetherI discovered today that the hardware was not missing but they were trying to cover up
Movers damaged furniture by moving the location of the furniture while in storage and have not fixed the furniture to our satisfaction
Two Men and a Truck moved my daughter's furniture and personal items to a secure storage on July 15, I signed that the items we placed in Cand the movers locked the unitWhen we returned to meet the movers at the unit on August 14, 2017, the furniture in the unit was not oursIt had been moved by the moving company to another unit without our knowledgeIt was jammed in the unit with someone else's items and damage was caused while this was doneThe movers refunded our storage fee as our items were not alone in storageThey replaced broken drawers, however, they sent a repair person to fix scratches and chunks of wood on the furniture and he could not fix itWe were told by the owner that they" fulfilled their obligation for repair" and that "we can do whatever we want with your items while in storage"Our daughter is left with damaged

An incident report was filed by the owner of the house I was purchasing when the movers tore a large peice of linoleum in the kitchen moving a deep freezerThey were quoted a standard price for repairing/replacing linoleum before the flooring cowere actually able to come and measure dimensions and give a true quote to Two Men and Truck for labor and price of linoleumThey were quoted a standard estimated price and measurement of $before any true measurement was doneWhen the actual physical measurement was done and the type of linoleum was seen and with labor and moving appliances to place the flooring the price is $They said that they would stay with $because that's what was quoted before flooring personnel could actually do a true estimate and accurate price because that's what moving cotold me it was and that it was "settled" (mailed a check that I held
