R. Lacy Interlocking Pavers Reviews (24)

I am rejecting this response because:The business may refer to the “Desired Outcome/Settlement” section of this original complaint filing with the Revdex.com to refresh themselves as to what my final resolution sought has always been. From the outset of this complaint, I have stated why their actions and responses no longer garner trust. I will not be having them on my property again. What it seems the Revdex.com can assist with is my third and final desired outcome point regarding reevaluation of the rating of Borg Fence & Deck/Lifescaping by the Revdex.com. Having a favorable rating was a factor I took into consideration when choosing this contractor and I hope others have the benefit of more accurate information during their research.

I am rejecting this response because:  The company never disclosed they were going to leave exposed metal sticking out from my cement.  Yes, they came back and cut the screws that were sticking out 3inches, with the exception of two they missed.    However they NEVER sanded or smoothed anything.  They left an eye sore and a hazard behind.  I would have never signed for them to remove the fence and install a new fence had they disclosed this is what I would be left with.   At this point if it's not resolved here I will be forced to take it to court.

When the individual from Lifescaping presented at my property for an estimate he was provided with my credit card information. At this time he stated they did not take payment and no payment was due until the job was completed. Pregra Grass Installers were supposed to be here on 4/25/16 @ 8am. They were a no show. I spoke to [redacted] from Pregra whom called the Supervisor to find out where the installers were. She called back quite some time later stating they were actually in Los Angeles. I was rescheduled for 5/2/16. On this date they were late. I was late to work. When I presented home at lunch at approximately 1300hrs they were not here and not much had been completed. When I presented home the job was completed and I had questions regarding the uneven rock, the grass laying flat and the seams. I was instructed to watch the seam, eventually the grass would stand up, sign the paperwork and contact [redacted] at the office. The installers were arguing amongst themselves and according to neighbors had been most of the day. I did as they instructed and wanted them off the property due to their conflict. I had to clean up the rock mess they left in the street due to one of the neighbors complaint. When I spoke to [redacted] and again attempted to pay she stated "its company policy We don't except payment until the customer was completely satisfied. Again I made the offer to pay. She attempted to make several appointments for someone to come back out, but it was always a no show. The situation was then sent to another Manager whom promised they would show with all the proper materials and equipment to complete the job. That day was also a no show.  On 6/18/16 I received several calls at work stating there were 2 african american men and 1 caucasion male pounding on my front door and walking about my home. My Grandaughter was here, eventually she opened the door asked who they were and informed them I was on my way from work. When I pulled up they apologized for just showing up without and appointment but they had finished a job early and there supervisor sent them over unexpected. They gave me his number and I called him. He apologized and Once again I was promised they would get me a date to come back. When I called back to the office I was told both [redacted] and the Supervisor were let go. [redacted] asked if I minded if she charged my card for partial payment because the process had not been completed correctly. She stated they were working to get the issues resolved. On 7/6/16 after a once again no show by Pregra Grass Installers my issues were assigned to [redacted] the new Northern California Regional Manager. He stated I would now only be dealing with him and to not contact the Southern California Office. He stated I had his word and the issue would be taken care. He offered to come to the property to fix the seam but then realized it was more than the seam. He scheduled a crew to come out on 7/12/16. Of course they did not show. When I spoke to [redacted] by phone he stated he would find out where they were. According to [redacted] Eventually he located them and their vehicle had broken down and they would not be coming. I have made several attempts and have been more than available to this company. They have failed in every aspect. I have sent you phone records, text messages and emails. [redacted] has refused to return phone calls or text messages trying to get the situation remedied. These are my available dates for October 10/21,25,26,27,28. November dates 11/2,5,6,11.I am requesting this company provide phone records to verify their false statements regarding they have attempted to reach me. I am demanding to have an appointment set up immediately to have the rocks evened out, the seams repaired and the grass to stand up. I have no issue paying for this project once it has been completed accurately. I demand this company remove any type of lien from my property as it is their irresponsible business practices creating this unnecessary stress and anguish to the consumer.

Our team will be on site at Ms. [redacted]’s residence at 8am on November 11, 2016.  The team will consist of [redacted] and two assistant workers. The issues that we will address are as follows:1)      Addressing issues with the compacted rock base underneath the turf; 2)      2) Address seam issues to a reasonable point; that is, seams are a normal part of a turf installations and efforts are made to make the seams not visible but it is not guaranteed to appear seamless; 3)      3) add infill within the blades of the turf to assist in the blades standing up; however, grass can lay periodically and requires ongoing maintenance by the consumer to facilitate the grass to stand up.We are not aware of the $2,000.00 that was originally paid being in a holding position with [redacted].  Nonetheless, after completion of the above steps, when we receive funds totaling the value of the contract, $4,253.00, we will release the lien on the residence. Thank you [redacted]
