I was told by the shop to bring it for more work and was told that u would have to pay again for the future laborMy problem is that they worked on my AC with out knowing the problem, the replace various parts that did not need replacingI took it to someone else and they found the problem to be Abad AC compressor and all I had to pay was dollars for the new compressor and dollars for laborFixed in hour and not days like Ruben's fleet service
To Whom it my concern,Customer came in for a federal motor inspection. While performing inspection customer asked if we could check his A/C system because it was in-op. Upon inspection and diagnosis of the A/C problem, we found that it had a major failure of the drier which contaminated...
the system. We replaced drier and expansion valves and flushed system. When the damaged parts were replaced the system did not work effectively due to no voltage to compressor. We tested compressor and found it to be good at this time, and that the problem was in system wiring. Five to six hours were spent trouble shooting system. Customer advised that he had wired the system with direct voltage to operate the A/C, and requested that we do the same, for he had to take vehicle. We advised him that, that was the reason for his mechanical A/C failure, because there are no safe guards to protect the system and we could not do that as it would not be the proper fix. Customer was informed that he could bring the vehicle back to address the issue, and that he wouldn’t have to worry about the labor, just additional parts if needed. We expected the customer back and would still like for him to bring the vehicle in to take care of this issue if at all possible. We apologize for any confusion on this matter and hope we can find a resolution soon.Thank you, Ruben’s Fleet Service
