Review: My property is damaged due to the negligence of this company's painters and I want it fixed. I have not gotten any response from the company.

In June, 2012 two painters from this company came to paint my home and shed. The two story house and one story shed are both made with wood siding and were built in 1928. Both men were very wrapped up in personal problems that prevented them from paying attention to the job at hand. According to the contract they were to "cover windows and landscape prior to painting." They did not and now the majority of the screens on my windows are damaged either by paint or holes resulting from the attempt to clean the paint off. The windows in my shed are ruined by the cleaning compound they used; they must not have realized that the windows are Lexan not glass. They covered some but not all of my landscaping resulting in damage to my plants by overspray including decorative fencing and plants that are not close to the house. There is overspray of paint on my porches as well as drips of paint that are soaked into the wood. In addition, the trim was to be painted in two coats of low-sheen acrylic but in some spots the old color shows through. When they were running low on paint, the painter purchased semi-gloss paint which was then used for the trim on my shed so now it does not match the house. The wrong trim paint does not cover the previous color completely and needs another coat or two or to be repainted in the correct paint. This wrong paint was also used to fix problem spots on areas painted with the low-sheen paint and it is obvious. The contract also stated the "job to be left clean and neat." The men didn't put down drop cloths when they scraped the sides of my house and now there are paint chips in the lawn and flower beds. When they finished the job they put three bags of trash into my clearly marked yard waste recycling can which I then had to dump out and put in the correct can. I called [redacted] on June 23 approximately one week after the job was done to complain, he told me he would be out by 6/29 but he never came nor called. I attempted to call on 6/29 and left a message. I left a second message on 7/5 and he told me he was on vacation and would call when he got back. On 7/16 he came with [redacted] who was one of the painters. They repaired the specific spots I showed them on the porches, etc but did not look for other similar spots which are still in need of attention. I cannot clean up this mess myself nor can I take the screens out of the windows for repair due to my disability. On 9/29 I sent a letter to RP Painting's Stockton, CA address, which is the address on the contract, stating my displeasure in the mess that I am faced with every day and my inability to take the screens out for repair. I requested a partial refund of $500 so I can hire someone to finish cleaning up from this paint job. I never received an answer. On 11/5 I sent a second letter by registered mail which they are refusing to accept. I feel that I have a legitimate complaint against this company and would like this matter resolved.Desired Settlement: As I stated above, I requested a refund of $500 so I can hire someone to repair the damages and clean up the rest of the mess. I can only hope that will be enough. If RP Painting would like to come out and repair or replace the damaged screens, repaint the wrong trim paint, finish cleaning up the drips, and cleaning up the overspray problems that would be fine also. I want the professional paint job that I contracted and paid for.
