Revdex.com RE: [redacted] closed on her construction loan August 18, 2016.  We do not order homes to be built or sign off on an order until after their financing has been completed.  Valued Homes has no control over the length of time it takes to...

close on her construction loan.  If the loan closed quicker she would have had the home earlier.  The factory, late summer to early fall last year was twelve weeks out on orders.   The factory engineers and New York State furnish the blueprints. Valued Homes has nothing to do with the blueprints and  it is out of our control.   [redacted] called New York State and the factory repeatedly regarding the blue prints thinking she could expedite them.  Her loan was far from closing.  The time it took to receive her prints did not hold back anything.     When the home was ready at the factory we scheduled delivery,  [redacted] site was not ready for the delivery of the home so we hauled her home to our storage facility.  We had requested that the water be drained off and then paper and stone to be installed in the driveway in order for the crane and home not to get stuck.  The property was drained and they put some stone down but nearly enough.  She told us she did not want to put more stone in the driveway until after the equipment was moved off of her site.   [redacted] called our competitors to see if they would haul our home to her site quicker than we could....which was completely absurd..  My husband, Bruce, decided to go forward having to use mats and plywood and roll the home, which added material, equipment and labor  cost.  Consequently, the crane and home both got stuck which caused extra cost in setting this home. (See attached contract where it states that the buyer is responsible for having the site ready and the price will not include any additional cost to deliver or set the home on the foundation.)  It cost an additional $1,000 due to the site not being ready.  Once the home is craned onto the foundation, roof completed and made weather tight the homeowner (during winter months) is asked to get their heat and electric on for the contractors to do the drywall.  Once this is done we asked [redacted] to give us a call so we can schedule the work.  She demand it be started immediately.  Unfortunately this time a year takes a little longer to complete the home.   We explained we had other jobs and customers we had to finish.  The contractors have to complete the sites they are working on before they can start hers.  I understand the excitement of getting into a new home, but there are some things that take a little time.  We tried to explain to [redacted] that the contractors can not drop the work on someone else's home to start hers.  Also, Christmas and New Years make for shorter work weeks and many of the contractors take time off during the Holidays hoping at this time of year customers would understand.  They work hard all year long.  Construction of a new home is not an exact science. We can not give an exact date which we tried to explain to her.  Crane dates can be canceled due to weather, break downs... dates get pushed back, national grid and fuel companies  have cancellations.  Many things can change the time frame of everything and everyone involved.  We tried to make her understand the process of construction. I am very sorry she believes we are monitoring her calls.   We are very apologetic that we could not meet her expectations.  We will be doing our very best to complete her home in the next few weeks.Sincerely,Bruce and Sherrie [redacted]
