R & R Tire & Auto Repair

I took a rim and tire from my 2008 BMW to R & R Tire and Auto to have the tire mounted onto the rim. The first service tech who was assigned to complete the task scratched my rim in several places. When I brought this to the attention of management, the manager offered to send my tire and rim to a repair person, but only if I would agree to leave it overnight in their possession overnight and allow R & R to choose the repair person. I asked for the name of the repair person and some references. The manager refused to provide the requested information and told me to leave the tire and rim or he would not have it repaired. I felt my request was reasonable especially in light of the amount of damage the company's tech had already caused so I told the manager his offer was unacceptable. He reiterated his position that I needed to leave the tire and rim and added that the offer was only good that day. I tried to discuss my concerns and I was told to leave the tire and rim and if I left the premises with my tire and rim, the offer was off the table. After realizing I was not going to reach a reasonable compromise with the manager, I left and took my property with me.Product_Or_Service: Tire mountOrder_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like for R & R to pay for the repairs to my rim plus an additional amount for diminution in value.

R&R fixed my front brakes and replaced my left front rotor. 3 days later my left front tire came off while driving resulting in an accident. After replacing my front brakes and left front rotor, my left front tire came off while driving. It was very frightening and resulted in severe damage to my vehicle as well as another gentleman's car. At first R & R was very apologetic and cooperating. They were going to fix everything on both vehicles. I can't get them to return my calls now. They have the police report. They have a mechanic with 28 years experience stating that the reason the tire came off was because they didn't tighten the lug nuts enough. Complete nightmare. I wish I'd never heard of R & R Tire and Auto. DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING IS MY SUGGESTION! Desired SettlementI just want my vehicle and the other vehicle completely fixed to our satisfaction.

On or about Saturday November 9th, 2013 I pulled into RR Tires on [redacted] and [redacted] to get two tires put on the front of truck.I waited about 45 Minutes and then I was asked for my Keys. A few minutes later the mechanic said he was going to have to use one of my lugs from the back right tire to put on the front left front tire because the one on the front was stripped. I agreed and proceeded to ask the gentlemen what size? He stated, "Whenever you go to auto zone or wherever you purchase the lug they will tell you the size. He never stated I need to this immediately or we can not put these tires on because your bolt is stripped!!!! A few days later there was a loud banging noise coming from the front end of my truck. I pulled over to [redacted] on [redacted] and [redacted] for help. The gentleman looked at the front tire on the driver's side and told me 3 bolts were broken off, the lugs were gone off the front left tire and that the tire was literally about to fall off. I immediately called to R R Tire service on [redacted] in Memphis Tn. [redacted] to tell them about the problem. The owner was not in so got his personal cell number. He answered and said he would look into the matter and call me before the (Saturday) was over. Well he never returned my calls. My tire could have fallen off and not only killed me but an innocent person, like your child, wife or your mother. Simply because of negligence. I suggest unless you want to take the risk of losing a tire or worse your life. Mr. [redacted] never apologized or accepted responsibility for his employees actions. As a professional business owner Mr. [redacted] should have investigated the situation and did the right thing!!! I suggest unless you want to take the risk having your vehicle worked on by what seems to be an incompetent staff,NEVER let R R tires on [redacted] and [redacted] in the old [redacted] building work on your vehicle.Desired SettlementI Would like for RR reimburse me for the bolts,lugs and labor of getting my tires putting on correctly!!!!
