Revdex.comViewridge Ave Suite 200San Diego, CA 92123February 23, 2017Re: [redacted] Complaint # [redacted] Mr [redacted] ,Lie# [redacted] In response to the complaint registered by [redacted] the only statement that is correct is that we,El Cajon Roofing did a roofmg job at the property [redacted] *** [redacted] ***.The person who signed the contract was [redacted] ***, the managing partner of their LLC.And it was/is [redacted] who signed the Completion of Certificate and paid us in fuU in our oBkeafter we completed [redacted] final punchllstOnly then did [redacted] pay us.At the this time, [redacted] never indicated that the attached roof was part of the contract and this is the maincomplaint of [redacted] K [redacted] who is currently trying to get us to roof an attached section for FREE[redacted] complains of $20,in extra costThe extras cost involved, where for replacement of drains andtermite damaged woodAll extras were signed and approved by [redacted] ***As anyone with constructionknowledge knows, hidden terminate damage and rotted out drains are not visible to the naked eye and thesecost are related to the extras.In response to existing leaks, [redacted] and Project Manager [redacted] had a great workingrelationship and we have addressed any problems with him directlyFor example, several times therestaurant, Alfonso had leaks in the buildingAfter inspection the leaks were caused by the AC units notbeing maintained properly but we sent Journeyman Roofer to inspect the area because [redacted] is a greatclient.We have worked well with [redacted] and have no dealings with ***, except for [redacted] trying to force us to roofan attached section that was not part of our contract a contract that was signed by [redacted] and approved byScottIn fact, we tore out and re-roof his apartment building next to the job as a favor at a cost to us of$18,We did this because we see [redacted] as Family and Family takes care of Family.The job was completed in September 2016, as of today, Feb 27, we have had big storms comethrough San Diego with rain levels about 15" and we have zero leaks on [redacted] property (knock on wood) andif there was a problem [redacted] would call Richard directly and we would respond promptly.We deny all of [redacted] ***'s allegations, and have referred his monetary demands to our attorney.Please contact our office if you have further questions[redacted] ***
The complaint by Mr [redacted] was due to a miscommunication with the supply houseMr [redacted] was sent an Intent to Lien which the suppliers doWhen payment was made to suppliers they credited the wrong account, once the mistake was corrected Mr [redacted] received his Lien Release
