I had a great experience using R.S. Widdoes and Sons, Inc. They were very timely in coming to give the estimate and came out to do the work within a week of returning the signed contract. The project took two days. They were very clear in when we could walk on the concrete work and how to care for it. They did good work, efficient work, and put things back when they were finished. Everyone was friendly and helpful. They were willing to work around our schedule and needs. I would highly recommend this company for concrete work.

R. S. Widdoes & Son just put in a new front and back sidewalk at my home. All of their crew were extremely professional, courteous, friendly and wanted to make sure that I was happy with their work. They put in a long day and clearly were not going to leave until everything was absolutely perfect. I could not be happier with the way everything looks and I know that sidewalk will be there for decades!

Needing a big concrete job done at our home and knowing the expense that would be incurred, we carefully researched what contractor would best meet our needs. Wonderfully, two family friends had used Widdoes in the past and highly recommended his services. We made the decision to use Widdoes after personally inspecting the work he completed at their homes.
From the initial meeting and proposal to the completion of the job, Mr. Widdoes, his son and crew were professional, knowledgeable, courteous and ended each day cleaning up behind themselves. They poured the concrete in two parts. After each pouring, they were on their hands/knees and in their socks sometimes to ensure the concrete was laid just right.
On the fourth and final day, they returned and filled any holes in the yard with topsoil and then seeded it.
There are good companies and there are great companies. The skill and workmanship of this crew makes Widdoes THE premiere concrete and masonry company of NCCo. It has been a pleasure doing business with them and in addition it is nice to know that such an excellent service provider is from the local community. Thank you RS Widdoes and Son.
