Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Much of the facts in Mr***'s story are either false, taken out of context, or simply do not add upI have witnesses and proof to confirm my side of events. Neither I nor my family or friends plan on conducting business with Mr*** in the futureAt this point, I only hope that my complaint, along with the complaints of others I have found online, will remain on file to prevent new customers from making the mistake of hiring him. As for the accusations in Mr***'s story, the actual account is as follows:The car was never returned to the shop for more repairs. When we first attempted to pick up the car, my boyfriend pointed out to Mr. *** that there were dents still in the carThese were dents that had gone unnoticed in the initial quote between myself and Mr***Because these dents had not been noticed previously in the quote, I politely offered to pay Mr. *** more money to do the residual repairsNo matter how many times I have told this to Mr*** he refuses to either believe or acknowledge it. Mr. *** turned down our offer for further payment, saying that he would just take care of it. Upon this amicable agreement (note: there was no bullying whatesoever), my boyfriend and I left the car at the shop. When I picked up the car the next day and drove home I found that, in better lighting, such dents had not actually be repaired (not just the newly pointed out dents but the dents discussed in the original quote with Dave ***When I finally got in contact with Mr*** (he would not answer my phone calls or texts until after the check was cashed) he accused me of lyingMy boyfriend tried to talk to him and he began cursing and calling him "little boy."We pointed out to My*** that what he appears to have here is an internal problem with businessHis employee, Mr. ***, agreed to include the additional dents in the already agreed upon costMr*** should have better communication with his own employees so that customers are not told one price by his employees and then accused of being a liars by Mr***.Mr*** has not only lost my business but the business of all my family members and their clients with whom he once had a positive relationship

It was my understanding that I was hired to paint the driver’s side rear door, repair a dent and paint the passenger rear door, and repair and paint the left rear corner panel. Normally, this would be a $1,200.00 job, but since I have done work for [redacted] and her family for 10 years+, I quoted...

her $500.00 to do the job.  Her response was, "How can you do this so cheaply?” My response was, “Because I’ve done lots of work for your family.” She then accused me of calling her family bad drivers! I was just trying to do a favor for a long-time client.[redacted] says she picked up and paid for the repairs. When she returned home her boyfriend pointed out other dented areas on her car, none of which had been discussed on the original bid. I would’ve been happy to fix the additional dents, but the cost would be $200.00 for the original work. [redacted] was insulted that we wouldn’t do the work for free! [redacted] returned to the shop with her boyfriend, who bullied Mr. [redacted] into fixing one additional dent for free. Mr. [redacted] feared they would withhold payment if he didn’t do the extra work. ([redacted] came with her boyfriend, she was not alone.)  If [redacted] has further work that needs to be done, there will be charges for our services. We do not work for free. We completed the job we bid on to the client’s satisfaction. As far as my behavior, I found Katie’s behavior and responses very frustrating as they are just not true. I have done lots of work for her mother who has always been very happy with me.  Perhaps it was her own irrational behavior that caused this situation to escalate. She is trying to make a case so she can get work done for free. I don’t do business that way, and I don’t respond to bullying. I am not a threat to anybody. Does [redacted] have proof of this or are we looking at a case of libel?Sincerely,[redacted]

re: complaint [redacted]I will refund $150.00.However, would like something in writing from James that this matter is resolved and he will not attack me on social media.David H[redacted]All Colors
