In response to the complaint from Ms*** - on May 27, Mrs*** *** (Ms*** ***) contacted me about flood damage to DellfernI told Mrs*** that we could do this at an hourly rateShe agreed to this and signed the attached contractWe sent
our men that day to start the demoWe removed drywall, flooring throughout the house, cabinets in the Kitchen and bathroom and all furniture, clothing, etcWe also provided a free estimate for total repair of the flood damageThere was no obligation attached to this estimateWe only dealt with Mrs*** and she was the one to pay the invoice which is also attachedI am not sure why Ms*** is complainingAs she said we came as soon as called and removed and took to the curb all the water damaged material in a timely manner

In response to Mrs. [redacted] regarding the mailouts from R.A. Briggs & Co. Looking at our records, this is the 1st notice we have had that she would like to be removed from our mailout. We have never worked for them but have done three free estimates over the years but I...

found no request to be removed from our mailout list.
We will remove their name from our lists. The company that provides us with this information will require approximately 6 to 9 weeks. Also, they do not provide the information to third parties.
As for her concern regarding our Reference List - all our customers on the list have given their permission to be added to our list.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  
I, [redacted], did in fact have contact with the contractor and the owner of the business. [redacted], my grandmother, who did advance me the payment, was also very disappointed with the final receipt amount and the customer service she received from this company. I am not alone in feeling like this company is only after getting as much money as possible from each client, regardless of their situation. I can submit evidence of the multiple additional bids for the demo, that all are at least 2-3 times as less as I was charged. I do not want to accept the response, because of the final price. They also removed items, for example, the upper kitchen cabinets and trim around windows, neither of which were touched by flood water.They also failed to mention that they had not brought in de humidifiers, special filters and did not seal the studs. This information could have prevented further water damage. As a direct result of this, I have had to pay, out of pocket for the items untouched by flood water, because [redacted] does not cover them.Thank you for listening to my concerns.

Good Morning,
Mrs. [redacted] called for immediate help. We told her the hourly charge and she agreed to it. We went immediately and removed and disposed of the flood damaged items. Attached is the signed contract and the hourly breakdown invoice.
