I contacted this company to work on a rental property we own. Rick the owner gave a quote and I hired him. He was late and paranoid about getting paid the entire time. He asked for multiple payments through out the project. He would no show for multiple days, then show up again. Ultimately, he invoiced me at the end and his job quote changed all of the sudden. When I confronted him he threatened to put a lein on the house if unpaid. This guy is a crook! Do not hire him!

Over 2 weeks ago I got a bid of $600 for yard work from *** I asked if he needed 1/2 down and he said yes that would be fine. I paid him $300 by check and over the next 2 weeks all I got was excuses about when he would start the work. Finally last Thursday he said he would finally come out. I had to go to work that day so I agreed to leave a check for the remaining $300 on the front door. When I came home nothing had been done in the back yard and he barely touched the shrubs. I talked to him Thursday evening and he said that he would come out on Saturday when I was home to go over what all needed to be done but he was a no call no show. When I called him on Saturday he was curt with me and I explained to him my feeling regarding the lack of work. I do not trust him to do any additional work for me because although I was wrong for giving him 1/2 up front he was wrong for taking the other 1/2 without doing the work.

My lawn mower broke and I inquired about having Rick come and do my lawn. He responded to my request promptly and gave me a quote. He mowed and trimmed and did a marvelous job. He came back twice more before my mower was repaired. I recommend him for your yard care needs and will not hesitate to use his services again.

Last year I took bids from RA and Mabrey landscaping. Both were the same and I chose Mabrey. What a mistake. This year I hired RA. What a great guy! The yard has NEVER looked better. This is a five star business in my opinion.

Very simple: RA Landscaping came in with the lowest bid, did the work on time in a professional manner, and even went above and beyond when it came to repairing a little bit of completely unavoidable damage to a (too) nearby fence.
