At the end of May I used this company to move from Brooklyn to the BronxThey were over hour late, they disappeared with my stuff for over hours and one of my computers disappearedAfter three weeks of trying to get the company to reimburse me for the item that was taken, I have given up and decided to move on and warn others so that they might avoid my horrible experience with this company
It seems that they are dedicated to blaming the victim, suggesting that I must have misplaced the item, while swearing for the integrity of their employeesThis means the young men who handled my move will be moving you nextBeware.!

Review: I scheduled a move utilizing Rabbit Movers' services on August **, for a move occurring on August **. Quote ID [redacted].

Originally, the move was scheduled to begin at 12pm on the [redacted], then moved to 2pm. The company did not provide updates throughout the afternoon as to the arrival time, and thus it exceeded the hours that I had reserved the elevator upon their arrival. The Rabbit Movers truck and team arrived at my [redacted] apartment at 6:30pm that evening. The building manager told them it was beyond the hours of my service elevator use. The head mover indicated that it wasn't an issue and I could call Rabbit Movers to reschedule for the following day. Having already missed a full day of work, I was incredibly frustrated to have to re-schedule. The following day was the only day left I had to move into my new location.

Upon his departure, I called [redacted], the person who had originally booked my move at Rabbit Movers. She told me that their teams were booked until after Labor Day and that I would not be able to use their services. I requested mover referrals from her with comparable quotes (Rabbit Movers was $420). The only company available in her referral lineup, CitiPickup, took my business. Later, I discovered they ([redacted]) brokered it (at a fee of $160) at midnight to a terrible company called Kevin's Van Service for a rate of $400...totaling this move to $560. Horrendous experience with [redacted], and I will be sending a separate complaint regarding his company.

After this messy move occurred, and the amounts were paid to [redacted] and CitiPickup, I thought this ugly chapter could close. However, a charge appeared on my credit card from Rabbit Movers on 9/*/13 for $50.00. I emailed [redacted] immediately and politely that I noticed the charge and it needed to be removed from my card. No response or follow-up from Rabbit Movers, and it remains against my credit card.Desired Settlement: In addition to the $50 removed from my credit card, I request $120 to cover the discrepancy between what Rabbit Movers' quoted and what their referral charged me. I was told by the Rabbit Movers agent that the rate would be the same.
