Review: On September **th 2013, I met a friend for lunch at [redacted] I ordered for and was approached by an older gentlemen who claimed I was there a month prior and skipped out on a previous check. Feeling embarrassed I got up and walked into a corner with the older gentlemen who claims he had no receipt but " I owed 50 something dollars" I presented my business card feeling that a tangle item would ease the owners. I was proceeded to be called a liar and berated only to walk away with a deeper assault. The older woman screamed that she would be calling my job. I was terminated today for that event. I offered my information to the merchant, like attempted to resolve the issue but needed up loosing a job as help desk manager. I am shocked that they called my job and even provided a fake receiptDesired Settlement: An apology and my job back [redacted]'s Pizza and Restaurant [redacted]

Dear Sir:

Being in business for over thirty years, we are appalled that Mr. [redacted] would bring such a claim against this restaurant. He claims that a fake receipt was provided.

On Sept. **th 2013, Mr [redacted] and two other young men came for lunch. They had six Peroni beers and five slices of pepperoni

pizza. Their check came to$ 50.80. They rattled the server, saying they were in a hurry and asked for the check on their way out. They gave her a credit card to process. The server was busy and didn't realize that the credit card had been declined. They left before the server

could tell them. We have the number of the credit card and tried several times to process the card and each time it was declined. We do not know whose card it was in Mr [redacted]'s party. The card number and

check are stored in our computer On Oct. [redacted] 2013 not Sept [redacted] Mr. [redacted] and one other man again came to lunch. The same servers that were working

on Sept [redacted] recognized Mr [redacted]. Management approached him and explained the situation. He asked that we show him the check, but we had thrown it away by mistake. He was informed at that time that a copy could be produced if he could wait till It was retrieved. He left his business card because he felt we had no proof of him and his party skipping out. He became belligerent and used vulgar language when he was told that they intentionally used a declined card.

When the retrieved copy of the Sept [redacted] check was brought to Mr. [redacted], he had already left.

We did not know that Mr. [redacted] worked for West Med until he left his card. West med is a large and prestigious medical company. They are very good customers plus we deliver lunch and dinner to them on a regular basis.

[redacted] an employee of West med came for lunch the week of Oct **th. We asked her if she knew Mr. [redacted]. She replied yes and asked why.

We were reluctant at first, but she insisted on the details. We gave her a copy of the check from Sept. ** along with a copy of Mr. [redacted]'s business card. We were later contacted by Mr. [redacted], director of H.R.for West Med. We explained what happened on Sept. [redacted] and Oct. [redacted], Mr. [redacted] insisted that West Med reimburse the restaurant. On Oct. 21•t West Med used a company credit

card to pay for the Sept. ** check.

As to the desired settlement by Mr. [redacted] ,we cannot oblige. He failed to pay his check and used vulgar language when approached. It is up to West Med to give Mr. [redacted] his job back not [redacted]'s
