I registered to run and compete in the Graveyard 100-mile ultramarathon in March of 2016. The race costs around $200. I received an email in December from a former co-owner of the race organization stating that his ex-wife took the organization for herself and cancelled the race. On the race website it says there are no refunds, but this pertains to pulling out of the race or deciding not to compete. This is a breach of contract on RacENC's part because the organization cancelled the race for personal reasons- not having to do with inclimate weather or the competitors. I have tried to contact [redacted] the sole owner and proprietor, through many emails, voicemails, and more than 20 phone calls over the past month. I have not heard from her at all and I am entitled to receiving my money back for this race that was cancelled.Desired SettlementI would like to receive my refund back in full, whether it is by check, cash, or refund on the card I paid with.
