Complaint #*** *** *** First and foremost, Pittsburgh Singles takes every member complaint very seriously, and it concerns us that Mr*** is so unhappy. However, we are happy to report that after some initial concerns and request for a refund, Mr*** has been using the
service and it seems to be going wellPittsburgh Singles has a firm ''no refund policy'' (See paragraph 4aof the contract, which states: ''EXCEPT WHAT IS OTHERWISE PROVIDED HEREIN, THERE IS NO RIGHT TO RESCIND THIS AGREEMENT. Pittsburgh Singles does not grant refunds or accept cancellations of any kind, unless otherwise stated in this agreement.''). Once a person enrolls in our membership and pays for our service the sale is final. No right exists for that person to obtain a refund any time thereafter simply because that person changed their mind. Mr*** became a member of Pittsburgh Singles on September 1, 2016, purchasing six (6) introductionsTo date, Mr*** has personally received five (5) introductions. He admittedly got off to a “rocky start”, but worked through his concerns with the staff at Pittsburgh Singles. Mr*** even apologized at one point for wanting his money back stating that he was in a “bad spot and is better now.” As stated in paragraph 3bof the contract (which Mr*** initialed), ''An introduction is made when Pittsburgh Singles provides you with a name and a phone number of another member.'' Additionally, paragraph 3b(''PREFERENCES'') of the contract states, ''Preferences are used as a guideline for Membership services when seeking potential introductions. As introductions are based on an AS-AVAILABLE basis, introductions will be made that are as nearly compatible to a member's preferences at any given time.'' Further, the same clause states: ''Pittsburgh Singles, its agents and assigns, do not represent the characteristics, availability, quantity or demographic maof its membership base at any time. You, the Member, acknowledge that the membership base changes on a daily basis due to changes in membership status, including, but not limited to: new enrollments, expired membership, members becoming involved in relationships, members traveling, and members temporarily suspending their memberships.'' Further, an Addendum to the contract, signed by Mr*** states the following: ''...I understand that my preferences are 'preferences' and not 'requirements'. If at any time Pittsburgh Singles is unable to select an introduction who fulfills all of my preferences, Pittsburgh Singles will select an introduction who is compatible with my preferences but who may not meet all of the preferences I indicated in my profile.'' Having said that, Pittsburgh Singles is generous about replacing the introductions that do not result in meetings or result in very disappointing meetings. Mr*** is no exception to this generosityBecause Pittsburgh Singles aims to please, Pittsburgh Singles will work hard to find the right introductions for Mr***Based upon an analysis of Mr***'s membership file thusfar, it appears that Pittsburgh Singles is providing service to Mr*** precisely in the manner he contracted forPittsburgh Singles is performing according to the stated contract terms and services are most definitely being rendered as agreed. After reviewing your complaint it is my understanding you have refused to meet all or most of the men we have matched you with. We encourage you to meet every match to find out in person if there is chemistry or that special spark. As you are aware we provide introductions that have been
screened to make sure they are looking for the same relationship goals. If you refuse to meet people we cannot help beyond that. Also your contract specifically states that there is no cancellations or refunds. You have read and initialed to acknowledge this. If you need a copy please call our office

First and foremost, Pittsburgh Singles takes any member complaint seriously, and we are concerned with Mr***'s complaint.Pittsburgh Singles will definitely replace the introduction Mr*** has complained about and will work with him to ensure his preferences are better met That said,
however, a refund is not an option, as refunds are not allowed according to paragraph of the Membership Agreement

Dear Pittsburgh Singles,I told you that , call me crazy or not, I am someone who HAS TO be attracted to someone in order for me to proceedI would have to say that most of the world feels the same way!I DID agree to meet the one man but you said he declinedI as a paying customer have a right to desire specific things in a potential mateTHAT is why I chose to go through a brick & mortar type of location as opposed to going on-line which I have tried numerous timesYou then stopped all communication and decided to FREEZE my membership and discontinued sending me potential prospectsUnless I called back every so often, I heard NOTHING from your companyYou profess to have all of these eligible men, yet in what is going on "5" years now, you have found NO ONE for meMost people consider me to be quite attractive, pleasant and friendly, with a lot of offer the right person. Pittsburgh Singles stands by its initial response and by the terms of its Membership Agreement. However, as a courtesy, Pittsburgh Singles is willing to replace those three introductions for Mr*** and move forward with his program. During our last communication with Mr***, he told us that he was going to sue us and didn't want anything to do with us. We'd like to move forward with Mr*** and make his opinion of us a positive one

TO: PITTSBURGH Revdex.com FROM: [redacted]COMPLAINT #[redacted]-PITTSBURGH SINGLESI, [redacted], on this day, April 4, 2017, reject Pittsburgh Singles business resolution for the following reasons: 1.            During my several telephone calls with representatives from Pittsburgh Singles in 2015, prior to my initial meeting with Lissa, relationship counselor, in their Greentree location, on July 11, 2015, I expressed my concern that my inability to drive due to a medical issue, would hinder my chances of meeting someone through their services. I was told “our members are all affluent, they own numerous vehicles, driving will not be an issue.”  During my 7/11/15 meeting with Lissa (Pittsburgh Singles does not provide last names of their employees), I again stressed my concern about not driving. Lissa assured me that would not be a problem as they would search for matches in the greater Pittsburgh area only. From my first match, communication with Autumn (arranges matches) was difficult. I continuously stressed to her the importance of location of my matches and even wrote that in my feedback form.  Only after matching me with a gentleman from West Virginia, (he was not interested due to my not driving and location), did Autumn admit she did not realize I did not drive. Why was this not documented in my file?2.            I specifically asked not to be introduced to men who were married or separated, that of course happened.  The one gentleman I was introduced to was still married, had his wife pick up the phone during our conversation. I ended up having to block these people from calling me. A quick review of the Allegheny County Civil Docket would reveal to Pittsburgh Singles if someone had indeed entered into divorce litigation. If you are in the business of matchmaking, know your client. 3.            I want proof that background checks are indeed performed by Pittsburgh Singles. As a volunteer, I must keep my clearances in Pennsylvania up-to-date, and no one except for me and the organizations I volunteer for have performed these checks. I ask for this proof because: a. part of your membership fee for Pittsburgh Singles is supposed to go for background checks and b. one of the matches I was introduced to was not interested because I do not use drugs recreationally.  4.            At this point, I am not asking for a total refund, I am asking for Pittsburgh Singles to refund some of my membership and more importantly, clean up their act. Every single person I spoke with had the same complaints, high pressure sales tactics, no set pricing for their memberships, matches not even close to what they were looking for. 5.            Finally, for those that have medical issues that handicap their daily living, do not take their money!

This compliant is extremely confusing to read but I will respond to what I understand. We do not socialite ever. Potential clients find us online, fill out an application then receive a phone call from us. We then hold a conversation with them and invite them into our office for a consultation. I...

personally spoke with this client for lengthy conversations on what was going wrong on his behalf to turn around his experience. We advise our clients have short conversations then set up a meeting for a cup of coffee or tea. Ladies do not openly discuss weight on a phone conversation so to talk about them in that manner is not fair. We have our clients fill out a complete profile and match off their preferences. If clients do not get past a phone conversation that is in noway our fault. We expect clients to hold a quick professional conversation and set up a meeting. We are an introduction service not a chat line. Again I know I went above and beyond and spoke to this client many of times to help him be successful. We do have management above myself and I would never say we do not. I am in charge of the memberships here and help our members have been for years. We are a legitimate business with great intentions for all of our clients and do get to see success on a daily basis.
