First and foremost, Pittsburgh Singles takeS every member complaint very seriously, and it concerns us that Ms [redacted] has been so unhappy.However, Pittsburgh Singles has a firm "no refund policy" (See paragraph 4aof the contract, which states: “EXCEPT WHAT IS OTHERWISE PROVIDED HEREIN, THERE IS NO RIGHT TO RESCIND THIS AGREEMENTPittsburgh Singles does not grant refunds or accept cancellations of any kind, unless otherwise stated in this agreement.").Once a person enrolls in our membership and pays for our service the sale is finalNo right exists for that person to obtain a refund any time thereafter simply because that person changed their mind.Ms [redacted] became a member of Pittsburgh Singles on August 14, 2015, purchasing twelve (12) introductionsTo date, Ms [redacted] has personally received four (4) introductionsMs***'s written feedback suggests that some of the men she has been introduced to are good guys, but are not a "love match", which is understandableSometimes a match looks good on paper, but does not pan out otherwisePittsburgh Singles understands this process and understands that it may be frustrating for Ms***.As stated in paragraph 3bof the contract (which Ms [redacted] initialed), "An introduction is made when Pittsburgh Singles provides you with a name and a phone number of another member." Additionally, paragraph 3b("PREFERENCES") of the contract states, "Preferences are used as a guideline for Membership services when seeking potential introductionsAs introductions are based on an AS-AVAILABLE basis, introductions will be made that are as nearly compatible to a member's preferences at any given time." Further, the same clause states: "Pittsburgh Singles, its agents and assigns, do not represent the characteristics, availability, quantity or demographic maof its membership base at any timeYou, the Member, acknowledge that the membership base changes on a daily basis due to changes in membership status, including, but not limited to: new enrollments, expired membership, members becoming involved in relationships, members traveling, and members temporarily suspending their memberships."Further, an Addendum to the contract, signed by Ms [redacted] states the following: ",,.l understand that my preferences are 'preferences' and not 'requirements'If at any time Pittsburgh Singles is unable to select an introduction who fulfills all of my preferences, Pittsburgh Singles will select an introduction who is compatible with my preferences but who may not meet all of the preferences I indicated in my profile."Having said that, Pittsburgh Singles is generous about replacing the introductions that do not result in meetings or result in very disappointing meetingsMs [redacted] is no exception to this generosityBecause Pittsburgh Singles aims to please, Pittsburgh Singles will work hard to find the right introductions for Ms***.Based upon an analysis of Ms***’s membership file thusfar, it appears that Pittsburgh Singles is providing service to Ms [redacted] precisely in the manner she contracted forPittsburgh Singles is performing according to the stated contract terms and services are most definitely being rendered as agreed.At Pittsburgh Singles we understand that when people become members of such a personal service they may second-guess their decisionCustomer satisfaction is important to Pittsburgh Singles, and our staff looks forward to continuing to work with Ms [redacted] in the process of finding that right match.Pittsburgh Singles has kept its side of the agreement and has remained within the parameters of the contractMs [redacted] is not entitled to a refundPittsburgh Singles will, however, continue to work hard at finding great matches for Ms [redacted]

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I am not second guessing my joining a dating service What I am second guessing was picking Pittsburgh Singles You would think that a person's personal preferences for a match would be top on the list of the service provide that the dating service would have to use as they matched the person with other members; not that they can just randomly pick someone that has also signed up for the service They put personal preferences isn't a reason to feel they did not provide the service promised in the contract but that is not what the salesperson uses as a selling point; in fact, it is the complete opposite Also, I would have appreciated honesty in another matterthat they do not have members as close to me as what we talked about The men I was to meet were all older than I had stated I talked to other members and they were not happy with the introductions they had been given eitherThis was to be a service that provided better matches than going on [redacted] and it has not When they put a no refund policy in their contract that's allowing them to provide whatever shoddy service they want to give without any accountability No wonder they have dissatisfied customers I was open to finding someone my age, a professional with a college degree but instead they sent introductions out of my age bracket, who were retired and had health problems such as heart attacks and strokes I just turned and am not looking to be someone's nurse as they get older They have you sign this big contract while you are in with the salespersonand it did seem shady when they said about the no refund policy but I figured, at that time, that if they provided the service the salesperson was promising then I wouldn't want or need a refund However, what the salesperson promises and what they have in their contracts are two different things Regards, [redacted] ***

I specifically asked not to be introduced to men who were married or separated, that of course happened The one gentleman I was introduced to was still married, had his wife pick up the phone during our conversationI ended up having to block these people from calling meA quick review of the Allegheny County Civil Docket would reveal to Pittsburgh Singles if someone had indeed entered into divorce litigationIf you are in the business of matchmaking, know your client I want proof that background checks are indeed performed by Pittsburgh SinglesAs a volunteer, I must keep my clearances in Pennsylvania up-to-date, and no one except for me and the organizations I volunteer for have performed these checksI ask for this proof because: apart of your membership fee for Pittsburgh Singles is supposed to go for background checks and bone of the matches I was introduced to was not interested because I do not use drugs recreationally At this point, I am not asking for a total refund, I am asking for Pittsburgh Singles to refund some of my membership and more importantly, clean up their actEvery single person I spoke with had the same complaints, high pressure sales tactics, no set pricing for their memberships, matches not even close to what they were looking for Finally, for those that have medical issues that handicap their daily living, do not take their money!
