Regarding Mr. [redacted], customer arrived 11/28/2017 to drop off vehicle.  Customers concerns at that time were rust on wheels, noise in rear of vehicle, engine noise, and incorrect owners manual for vehicle.  We provided a rental vehicle at no charge while we look into the concerns.   1. Rust on the wheels that customer pointed out is actually the brake rotors and is normal to have this rust on the brake rotor hub portion.  The brakes were replaced prior to sale of vehicle to customer, and the design of the Chevy Equinox wheel shows this brake rotor more than other models.  Every car has this, and is normal.   2. Noise in the rear we found the spare tire tool not secure, secured and noise is gone.  Test drove several miles and no abnormal noises heard. 3. Engine noise is normal for this style engine by Chevy.   4. Owners manual provided to customer is correct and covers all of the 2012 Equinox models.  During the closing, the customer opted for some additional items which was signed for by the customer with price, causing monthly payment to exceed previous quote. Warranty was offered to the customer depending on term and mileage for additional charge but customer declined. After speaking to Mr. [redacted] and explaining to him our findings to his concerns, he was thankful and returned the rental and picked up his vehicle on 11/28/2017 Thanks[redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The sound that we hear is actually coming from the back tires everytime we hit a bump. That was the problem and still is  the problem as well as the brakes when you are in reverse. Far as signing up for something that would make the monthly payments higher we were told that either we signed the paper or leave the vehicle after spending over 4 hours there. We were told it would be a monthly payment of $204 and we were told that the car had an extended warranty. That we did not have to pay for. Once we accepted everything and signed it we had to meet with someone else on the way out and he told us we either got the extra insurance or we leave the car. That insurance was $20 that would put us at $224 but we pay $268. Also when we dropped the rental car off we NEVER spoke with anyone regarding the vehicle. They pointed my wife and I to the service center cashier who then gave us our key and we left. We had to read the papers that were left in the car to find out what they actually did which was nothing at all. Instead was a lot of excuses or oh that is normal but nothing was resolved. We actually had to go outside and use the car alarm to find our vehicle. So being thankful after explaining something to us never happened. This was a very horrible experience and overall just very shady business with all of the lies we were told to purchase this vehicle. We even donated gave a down payment and also traded in a vehicle all to be treated like this.

[redacted] , our Service Manager, has been trying to reach Ms. [redacted]. I feel that [redacted] would have an easier time communicating with Ms. [redacted]. The customer has not been in the dealership since around the time of purchasing her car 10/25/14. A few weeks after her purchasing she had a tire pressure...

sensor issue. We replaced the sensor but she insisted the tires need to be replaced as well. This was not necessary. Ms. [redacted] made disturbance and she called the police. After becoming very belligerent and threating to one our employees we asked the police to ask MS. [redacted] not to return. This was the last time anyone he had spoken to her until 2 weeks ago. [redacted] has been attempting to reaching this week unsuccessfully. Thank You, [redacted]

Speaking with Racine Toyota they “made” me purchase additional insurance or they guy I spoke with told me I could get my refund and no vehicle after spending 4 hours at the dealership. I purchased the vehicle because I was told it had an extended warranty. That wasn’t the case. The salesman made a mistake or just lied either way the dealership should honor what I was told about the extended warranty and lower my payments like I was promised it would be. That’s why I gave a trade in vehicle and a cash deposit down. This isn’t a credit score issue I have good credit so I would like the extended warranty and the lower payments like I was promised. Also when I went to the dealership the first time they overtalked my wife and I so we had to file a Revdex.com complaint because I do not believe they will fix these issues we have.

Review: I leased 2016 Toyota Camry on August 18, 2015 and I traded in 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche. There was a payoff on my trade in and the vehicle was suppose to be paid off in ten days and its October 14, 2015 the vehicle is not paid off yet. I have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue and now they are no longer responding to my calls. I spoke with [redacted]-GM, [redacted]-Finance Manger, [redacted]-office manager and [redacted]-Owner. I would like them to payoff my 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche in full. I have made contact with my attorney if this issue is not taken care off.Desired Settlement: Would like Racine Toyota to payoff my vehicle by October 31, 2015 in full. Legal actions will be taken.

Its unfortunate that all this dealership offered me was wasted time and money!! I was interested in a used vehicle, test drove it and worked out a reasonable price. So I asked to take the vehicle to an offsite mechanic after 30 mins of assuring me that everything was 100% good on the vehicle, they agreed to let me take it to a mechanic. After visit with the mechanic, I found out it had a bad tie rod and was leaking power steering fluid (Needed rack and pinion replaced at least a $900 expense), not to mention bad spark plugs and wires, old battery and a dry and cracked serpentine belt. When bringing the vehicle back to the dealership, they would not work with me to get this things fixed or knock down the price at all instead I was greeted with defensiveness and rudeness for finding out that they tried to sell a car with $1,400 dollars worth of problems!! They are definitely not worthy of your TRUST or MONEY when it comes to used cars and if you dont buy what they offer, they will get mad and try to break you down and make you feel like your money is nothing. They also will not give my $900.00 dollar deposit back for 10 days!!! WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

This business is now known as "Racine Toyota". We went to purchase a specific car based on their published "internet price". After about two hours of test drives, sales pitch, etc. our salesman began price negotiations with a price point about $ 4000.00 higher than the published internet price. When confronted with the discrepancy, he left and returned with a different salesman who explained that the internet price was a "mistake" and we would have to pay more for the car. When we spoke with the manager, he said we could complain if we wanted to, but that his rebuttal would be that it was simply a mistake and he would not honor his advertised, published price. Of course, we did not buy the car. While I can not read hearts and minds, clearly, this was a matter of Racine Toyota being unethical (bait and switch) and/or stupid, and those afflicted with either of these should not be selling cars.

Review: On Wednesday July 8 I looked on Racine Toyota's website and found 2 Prius 3's for $20,862 with many options, my wife and I went to the dealership and talked to the sales woman [redacted]. We told her about the cars we saw on their website and I showed her a picture of the ad. She said ok that's a great price and took us out for a test drive. We liked the car and sat down to to talk about our trade in. She came back and said the sales manager said that wasn't the right Prius. The Prius 2 was the car for $20,862, I told them the ad said it was a Prius 3. They said it was a mistake and that it was Toyota that made the mistake that Toyota upload the information about the car and not the dealership and they don't always check to see if the information is correct. There was nothing they could do about it.I told them it was their responsibility to check the ad and make sure the information is correct, it's your website. They said they didn't have time to check every ad. I told them you have 2 ads that said the same price for a Prius 3, they said they would correct it. I hoped they would be honest and honor their ad. They said no but they would sell me the Prius 2 at the $20862 price. We bought the Prius 2 reluctantly. I checked their website today and they had taken the Prius that I bought off the site but the other Prius is still on there saying its a Prius 3 for 20,862, that's over a week later.I felt like this was a bait and switch or false advertising and they should have honored the price. They also tried to blame it on Toyota when it is ultimately their responsibility. They are trying to get someone else with this scam by leaving the second Prius on the website.Desired Settlement: I would like $3500 refund
