Attendant not compliant with refund of gas money. Poor customer service and people skills. The matter took place approximately 7pm October, 25, 2014, Saturday. I was attempting to get gas for my [redacted] minivan. I went in and paid for $20 of gas that has to be prepaid per their gas station policy. I gave the attendant a $20 bill, told him pump 3, which was the pump closest to the store. (You can see it from where he was located I proceeded to go outside to start pumping, and the pump was not working. I went back inside to tell the attendant and he stated that I told him the wrong pump and that there was nothing I could do, it was my mistake. There was a customer getting gas around the same time I was and he also went inside to pre-pay as well. All debits and credit card purchases are made at the pump and resulting all cash transactions be paid inside with the clerk. The attendant stated that the other guy "took" my gas. I am a little concerned on how that would happen since all the amounts are prepaid. Clearly, this was the attendants mistake and did not want to fess uo to the error. He was very rude and spoke down upon the situation. Then he continued to tell me to contact the police. Which I did call, but the police said it was a civil matter and that they can not make the guy give the money back. I left the station discouraged, then decided to call the station to ask to speak with the manager or the owner. The worker hung up on me. I had my wife call, and he said the person in charge will be in the next day. I called back and after several attempts there was an answer. We asked to speak with the person in charge either a manager or owner, and the man on the other end stated the manager had left for india a few hours ago and will not return until next tuesday. My issue is $20 is not very much money, but I did not receive anything for my $20 and was treated very ill. The lack of customer service and people skills is sickening. He was extremely rude. If it happened to me so easily, how often has it happened to others, and will there be more victims to this scheme they are profiting from?Desired SettlementAll I am seeking is to make things right. Either a refund credit of $20 or $20 worth of gas. I especially am seeking an apology. The phone number listed on the Revdex.com site is incorrect from what their number is.
