Dear Sir or Madam, I am responding to the above referenced complaint I, Terry R [redacted] , of Rackham Roofing, Increceived a phone call from [redacted] approximately September to give an estimate on his son, [redacted] 's roof I gave an estimate for the amount of $3,at that time I did receive $2,for the materials at that time, but due to my scheduling and weather I was unable to get to his roof before snow came I was in constant contact with [redacted] about the roof, and it was determined to wait until spring I was contacted in September of by [redacted] and I told her that the roof would be loaded on Tuesday Harrington and Co., my material supplier, could not load the roof that day, because of the existing shakes on the roof and a tendency for the materials to slide on the shakes So they contacted me and I put jacks on the roof for it to be loaded the following Thursday The materials were then loaded on the roof I talked to [redacted] and told him that I would do the roof after finishing a job in Swan Valley and he was fine with that as long as it got completed right after that job [redacted] called me a couple weeks later and asked if the weather had held me up I told her that I had spoken with [redacted] and would be on his roof as soon as I finished this job My daughter then saw a post on Facebook about needing a referral for a roof She had contacted [redacted] unaware that the comments she was making was about me My daughter called me about it, and I called [redacted] to see what was going on as the post appeared that they were trying to hire someone else to complete the roof [redacted] did not know about the post and told me he had no problem I had already started the roof, when I received the notice of complaint from the Revdex.com The roof was completed on October 20, I also fixed soffit, fascia, siding, and window wraps while on the job that was not estimated in the project at no charge for the inconvenience caused in scheduling Respectfully, Terry R [redacted]
