Review: Called this locksmith to change a older Lockset on the backdoor of my home. I sent pictures of the existing lock and door [redacted] so he would know what was needed.

Locksmith arrived and changed the lock. Looked ok until I went to leave my home and my hand became caught between the doorknob and the door jamb. The lockset was just too big for that door and door jamb. I communicated with the locksmith and his response was " it was the smallest lockset I had on the truck"

If he had been a reputable locksmith he would never have installed this in the first place! He should have told me he didn't have the correct one, order it and come back at another time. That would have been reasonable and professional.

This locksmith said he would order the right one and come and change it.....I have made numerous appointments and have even left the house unlocked so he could stop in over a two day period to change it at his leasure. The last agreement was for this previous Monday and Tuesday in which he said he would take care of it. Again, NO SHOW and no phone call.

I have since had some one to replace it with the correct one.Desired Settlement: Total refund
