Originaly Ms. [redacted] was given a quote of a 2 man and 3 man minimum price for the move which was stated on the signed contract and explained in detail. Please see attachment...
above. Ms. [redacted] had 3 men come to help her on this day. All customers are called the day prior to confirm job appointments. I had informed her during the confirmation call that she would be the second job of day, and the men would call her on their way to site location. Only first appointments are given a specific morning time frame due to not knowing specifically when the moving job could end. We always give a window of time to expect the movers for second or third jobs. The minimum charge for 2 men is 3 hours for a total of $270 at $90 per hour. The hourly rate of $90 for two men takes place after the initial 3 hours. The same process applies for the 3 man minimum, with a minimum of 1.5 hours for 3 men being $260, and the hourly rate of $130 applying after the initial hour and a half expires. Her job was a total of 1.5 hours with 3 men and no travel charge for being a local move which means the minimum charge was equal to $260, which is what was quoted during the phone estimate. With 3.5% credit charge the total bill came out to $269.50.Please let me know if you have further questions. Thank you, First Coast Movers
