11-10-Radco's response to customer on 11/11/15: (paraphrased) The topper has been on the truck for potentially years and we have not been asked to make any adjustments to the fitmentToppers are clamped on and will moveIf adjustments are not made, this movement will cause paint damage12-22-Additional notes: Radco does offer and encourages Free annual adjustments on our topper installations to help minimize paint rubbing and to address any fit issues quicklyRadco's recommendation and offer 12-22-15: The best way to correct this issue and to avoid future problems is to install a set of molded "Bed Caps", we have a few different varieties available and the prices begin at $plus installation (normally $if done prior to the topper installation)If the customer is willing to purchase the Bed Caps at our Baxter location, Radco will remove the topper, touch up "scuffed" areas, Install the Bed Caps and re-install the topperIn good faith we will do this without changing any installation fee

When I first contacted Radco it was about the rust that was coming out from under the topper on my truckRust does not appear over night on a brand new truck, It takes timeWhen I purchased the topper I had asked about putting on a bed cap? Radco said it was not necessary, topper had built in padsAfter I got home from Radco I noticed that there were metal shavings in the box of my truckThey must of come from installing the rubber tailgate matSome may have gotten in between the truck and the topper? I had periodically checked the bolts and they were always tightI had the body shop at my local Chevy dealership look at the rust spotThey said topper caused the damageAnd I should contact Radco because it was going to be around $to fix#All rust would have to be removed#Apply rust inhibitor#Paint#4.Clear coatI can get a estimate if you would like to see oneI had sent Radco pictures of my truckRadco does not take the severity of the rust damage seriouslyIt is not a scuffIt is a RUST problem! I'm not sure Radco is qualified to repair my truck the way it should be repairedI think Radco should pay the repair costsAfter repair I would be happy to buy a set of bed caps

Spoke with the customer on 01/21/and walked the customer thru the process of how the toppers are installed why toppers can move around and how paint damage occurs over the course of yearsTried to reach out and extend the offer of removing the topper and touching up the paint and installing the bed caps to help eliminate anymore paint damageWe suggested That this truck and topper be looked at in person at this point we have only seen pictures and need to get a better idea for both parties what are expectations are for moving forwardWe have set a time of next Tuesday 1/26/to call the customer and make an appointment time to look at the topper,inspect truck and come up with a solution to move forward

I went to Radco to show them my truckWe came to a mutual agreement about repairing my truckThey took care of the repair right away while I waitedGot truck repairedIt looks goodI would go back to Radco for another topper or other accessoriesThank You, *** ***

Resolution has been made with The customer on January 7th We have agreed to do a full refund for $for the customers topper a leer 100R 56ffThat was purchased back on 8/9/2014.The reason for refund was the the topper paint did
not matchThe customer will be coming to our location in baxter on 1/15/to remove his topper and get the refund
