During install of the roof Mr. [redacted] did make me aware of the guys using his ladder without asking and dropping the shingles that had knocked a picture off the wall. I addressed those issues with our installers. I had no further complaints...

from Mr. [redacted], finished the job and we were paid by Mr. [redacted]. About seven months after we completed the roof Mr. [redacted] did let me know that there was a leak at his chimney. He also told me that he had had a previous problem at that area with his old roof. We addressed the leak quickly and got it fixed. Several months later Mr. [redacted] called me about wrinkles in the felt under the shingles. I again got out there quickly with our guys and addressed the issue. Once we fixed it I was under the impression that Mr. [redacted] was satisfied. Approximately two or three more months went by and Mr. [redacted] emailed me an insurance form that he wanted filled out In order to lower his insurance premiums. I told him I could not fill out the paper work because the shingles did not qualify. I let them know that I had never installed a shingle that would qualify because the cost of the shingle is so expensive homeowners have always selected the standard shingles. I also let him know that his coverage would have changed and that he would have been losing his cosmetic coverage on the roof with that insurance premium change. Very soon after the insurance conversation Mr. [redacted] started making us aware of issues that had never come up before and issues that we thought we had fixed and that he was going to contact the State Attorney Generals office.  I again scheduled with Mr. [redacted] to meet him with the owner of Radiant Roofing at his house to look at his issues. Mr. [redacted] was again not happy with what he thought were wrinkles in the felt under the shingles. We were able to prove that they were not wrinkles but areas of raised roof decking caused by the roof rafters. He told us for the first time that he had a leak at his chimney cap. Chimney caps are not something that is installed or fixed by roofing contractors. There was also nothing mentioned in his signed proposal that we would be doing anything with the chimney cap. Mr. [redacted] tried to blame an exhaust vent that fell from the ceiling on us even though it fell out over a year after we did the roof. Mr. [redacted] for the first time, said he was not happy where the attic vents were placed on his shop. We have a chart that tells us how many vents are needed and then we place them on the back side of the roof, spread across the roof. The shop has 1x6 roof decking on it. When we installed one of the vents, one of those boards came loose on one end. We told Mr. [redacted] we would fix that. Wires were cut, possibly by us, on an electric attic vent on his house. We told Mr. [redacted] we would hire a licensed electrician to fix the wiring at that vent. Before we left he had agreed to have us fix the one 1x6 roof decking at the shop and the electric attic vent at the house. The following day Mr. [redacted] emailed me that he did not want us doing the work and that he did not want us back on his property. He stated that he was going to hire a certified inspector to look at his roof and that if the inspector said the roof was good, we would not hear from him again. The main item from the inspection report was the electric attic vent. We again agreed to fix it and Mr. [redacted] told us no. Soon after that Mr. [redacted] emailed me stating that he had found a leak in his attic. I responded that I would come out and do a water test and that because there had not been any recent rain it was possible that the water marks were from an old leak that had occurred before we replaced the roof. He again did not want me to come back out. We have made every attempt to look at and address all of Mr. [redacted]s concerns. Not only is it stated on our proposal that we offer a five year warranty, but we made Mr. [redacted] aware of that again the last time we were allowed out at his house.
