After multiple attempts to contact the client and receiving no response from them, RAI has written off the account as BAD DEBT and no further invoicing will be sent. ... Our VP of Operations received a call from a sales representative of Radio Accounting asking for us to participate in radio advertising for a veteran campaign. The sales person was asked to forward the ad for consideration, edits and approval to our VP of Operations. They never sent anything to our VP to review. The next correspondence was a bill for advertising charges that we never approved. We asked for the recordings/ads to be provided to us IF they existed and expressed our concern when they could not do so. We disputed the bill multiple times on the phone to the point of requesting them to stop calling and/or sending monthly statements for advertising that they can't provide proof of PLUS was never approved or authorized. When they were questioned about the other complaints with the BBB and the almost exact situation in each I was informed that it is common practice for advertising companies to have these type of complaints, and still...he could not produce 1 ad that aired OR

This radio company that I am disputing charges from are vultures They called and asked if I wanted to promote my business on the radio that could help with getting my name across to all the listeners, I was given slots of times on when this would air I was told that I was getting a special price which would help breast cancer awareness and so on It sounded good, so I asked them to send me the information to my po box so that I can review it and I will finalize with them if that was something I was interested in doing Within a week of the phone call, I received a bill in the mail, I read it through and decided against going through with this advertisement The air time was scheduled for weeks out so there was plenty of time for them to receive my cancellation and cancel the order I sent back the first bill with big bold letters written on it to cancel the subscription and do not go through with the air time because we do not want to do it! It was sent back in the same yellow envelope that they request you send the payment in I assumed since it is going to the same placethat I can send back the letter of cancellation in the same envelope The envelope is yellow, hard to miss I have attached copies of this (I made sure to keep this copy on my computer in case there is a dispute - luckily I did) Anyhow, they sent another invoice which I promptly replied back to cancel any current order and that I have already sent in a previous cancellation requestThis I sent back in the same yellow envelope they use for payments I have also attached these as copies to this explanation This radio company has done this before, and have done this to many others as i've read There are many and many complaints about this radio company and the way they handle their business It states that they have been in business for many years, but that doesn't mean it's a good business I don't know how these sales people sleep at night, knowing that they are trying to rip people off then make it sound like they're the victims? They have done this to many others as i've read on here and they need to be stopped We had asked for them to send information to our PO box for further review, and had told them that it was something that sounded good, but that was it I sent back notices on their own bill payments to cancel this on the same day I received the first notice, which was weeks before they were scheduled to air NOW they're saying that I should've called in instead? why? is paper not good enough? So, When they received the yellow envelope meant for payment in the mail, opened it and realized that there was no money, they threw it away? both times? that's absurdthey are now claiming that they didn't receive my request to cancelBOTH times! really? because there was no payment? OH, come on! This radio company needs a lesson in integrity So, NO, I don't feel that I should be stuck with a bill that I have disputed from the beginning, no i've given them notice to cancel way before they aired and no, I don't think that what they are doing is right I have attachments of the notices that I've sent back to them with my writing to cancel as well as the stamped envelopes that they were mailed in, the bright yellow envelopes meant for payment

Last year this company managed to get past me and talked to the boss They lied to him and talked him into a radio ad They failed to get us a copy of the ad as promised, until after the so called ad had run, so we never heard it on the radio This year they called, got past me by lying about a "job" they wanted us to look at (we are a contractor) and scammed us again This time they sold us an ad that we would NEVER hear since the radio station was miles away
